I have been following Mrs. Hinch for about 8 months. As someone who also loves to clean (and is not a professional cleaner), I have to say that she is bringing so much validation and attention to caring for our homes. This book, if you watch her Instagram stories, "sounds" just like her: natural, non shaming or competitive, joyous about the little things. Her simple housekeeping tips and tricks are not designed to make you feel like "Oh God, I'm not doing enough!" Or, if you are someone who loves to clean and does it a lot, you won't feel like, "Wow, I'm OCD and a perfectionist." She is very upfront about her struggles with anxiety. I have anxiety too and had never really connected the dots with why cleaning is so calming and therapeutic for me (and clearly millions of other people). She breaks down her own experience and wow, I see myself too. Again, I am sure we are not alone. Her book is just charming. I read it in one sitting. It's comforting, funny and if you want to know more about Sophie Hinchcliffe (aka Mrs. Hinch), you're in for a treat! We get the back story!!!I live in the States and could'n't see how to order the actual book on Amazon, so I got the Kindle version. You can bet I will get my hands on the actual book. It's a keeper with plans to make notes, journal etc...You can see it on the Kindle version but can't do anything about it! Again, Sophie is a light in the world. Long may she clean!

I absolutely adore Mrs. Hinch. I highly recommend following her on social media I love her story and her tips. She makes cleaning fun and is beyond full of love. Not only is she give great tips and ideas for cleaning but she reminded me to be more playful and light hearted. Sweetest women ever!

I bought this to inspire me to launch my Spring cleaning, having read about the author in a British newspaper article. Started reading it on a pretty dismal day, and was soon laughing and smiling as I caught on to the charm of this wise young woman. So much more than cleaning motivation here. But that, too. I already have my mini-Narnia set up, and have begun to not only Hinch the house, but have fun doing it. Not surprised that this authentic, upbeat writer has such a phenomenal following online. So upbeat and unaffected, I just love her honesty and joyful approach to life. Who knew there could be such a mundane solution to anxiety and insecurity. An original, delightful person that comes through on the page with so much to offer. Really glad I got this.

I love this book, hands down. On a sad day, Mrs. Hinch will cheer you up. On a good day, you'll be motivated. What a fun read and inspiring to help me do some more cleaning!

This is such wonderful book! I love Mrs. Hinch’s instagram account and wanted to support her in buying this book since she brings me so much joy online with her instastories- I wanted to return the favor. I’ve learned so much from her already! I honestly wasn’t sure how incredible a book about cleaning could be- visually it makes sense to see online but it was hard for me to imagine what this could be like! However, it is funny, heartfelt, and charming just like her instagram. I love how she opens up more about herself and her anxiety. It makes me love her even more. She is the best! Even though Mrs. Hinch swears by many products that you cannot get in the USA, her YourTube videos and books are inspiring. If you love your home (whatever, wherever it is), and take care of things, and maybe want to get more organized, she is a good source for info. Funny too! She talks about aspects of her life and her challenges. She is still stunned that she is so famous now in the UK. And humble. Cheers, Mrs. Hinch!

This was just the best book! I loved reading about Mrs Hinch in her own words! The cleaning tips are wonderful, but the rating comes purely from the positive attitudes conveyed in this book! Atb!

This is the best book I have ever read about dealing with anxiety.The added bonus with this audio version was Hinching my cupboards while listening.I reorganized my laundry room and kitchen cupboards and washed and polished my jeep and had a nice cup of tea to rest with the last two chapters.One chapter in, I paused the book to order the hard cover copy.Definitely a great, English love story.Thank you Mrs. Hinch.
