Easiest use, and reapply, long lasting!
Lasts longer than teak oil, and easier to reapply than varnish, this product keeps your brightwork looking good for 8-12 months. Simply wash clean to reapply! Best yet, I can "patch" in high traffic areas without having to redo it all, like foot steps and toe rails at lifeline gates. Nothing but compliments, but no shine either. Protects the wood and no tape required since it scrubs off the fiberglass when I hit it using a foam brush.

Quality product - looks great and holds up!
I have been using this sealer for about 15 years on my swim platform. I did stray away one time and try Total Baot's version (hot tip: don't) once. This looks great, and in brackish water, under cover, I get about 2 years (with two heavy coats applied after sanding) until I have to re apply. And it looks great when you are done! I have learned to trust Star Brite. They produce great products, but don't advertise very much. I guess they rely on word of mouth, like this.

They looked great, but the weather washed out the teak oil ...
I have 10 teak picnic table chairs. Quite an investment. Last year I stripped and treated them with Star Brite golden teak oil. They looked great, but the weather washed out the teak oil within a month and a half and then dirt got into the wood grain. Each chair has 10 seat rails and 11 back rails so they are very time consuming to redo. I used this product within the last two weeks and really like the way they turned out. The sealer is very thick and easy to apply with an inexpensive sponge / brush. I have put two coats on my table and all of the chairs. It looks like this product will hold up better. It's probably a cross between the oil and a varnish. Plan to wash/brush down the furniture at the end of every month and that should help preserve the treatment. Will still weather though. The only part I'm luke warm about is that after two coats, it hides the color of the wood and grain a bit. Color came out to be a gold/yellow. Still attractive. Fingers crossed that this product will last longer.

Easy to apply
Easy to apply. If you have drips they wipe up easily with a wet cloth. I like the look of the teak with the classic tint.

Easy application, great color, prep important!
The media could not be loaded. Really pleased with this product. The package I received said "teak sealer", not "teak oil sealer."-Amount: I treated a new dining table table and an older bench with two coats, and used 1/3 can.-Color: it's a warm teak color. Some reviewers think it's a little orange. To me it's a great teak tone.-Sealer vs oil: did a lot of research about this, as my experience with oil is not great. Used it on the bench, and it just lacks the staying power. Research says use a Sealer rather than oil, and this brand ranks high.-Prep: the prep for the new table was super easy. It sat outside four weeks (recommended in one article) before sealing. I simply wiped it down and allowed it to dry before applying. The prep for the older bench was a pain. It really did look bad in spite of having been oiled and partially protected by a screen porch all of its life. I scrubbed it with a combo of water, dish detergent, and bleach using a Dobie. And at times a plastic brush. A lot of gunk came off. After drying, sanded with medium grain paper, which removed most but not all the oil residue. Then wiped it with a wet rag several times. I did not use the multiple prep products that Starbrite sells.-Application - this is the easy part. This product goes on super easy. It is not as drippy as oil. You need to apply it outside to have the UV rays. Lay a tarp below to protect your deck or patio, have a clean rag handy and apply with a sponge brush. Dip brush just 1/4 inch or so. Apply with even strokes, stopping at seams. Go back after several minutes wiping/buffing with your rag - very important. Beautiful!-Duration: time will tell whether this will be more lasting and durable than oil. Research says it will. Fingers crossed!

Beautiful finish on my teak table
The media could not be loaded. Bought this heavily (candle ) stained table on Facebook marketplace.I used Star Brite cleaner and whitener and even did a light sanding and candle wax stains were still present. This sealer covered it up beautifully.I sprayed some water on finished table and the water just beaded up. Works well
