Runs Small - Feels Great When You Get the Right Size
I'm so glad I'd read the other reviews about these running small. I ordered a size up (XXL instead of XL) even though my measurements matched the ones for XL, and the XXL fits perfectly.I love that the sleeve is longer and comes down to just above the bend in my elbow. The other shoulder braces I have have very short sleeves that ride up into my armpit and press painfully on the inside of my upper arm. The length of this sleeve keeps it in place. The sleeve also breathes really well. I wore it outdoors in 105F temperatures to get some yard work done, and I was soaked in sweat when I came back inside. With my other braces, I have to take them off and hang them in front of a fan to get them to dry out, but not this brace. I never even took it off. The fabric wicked the moisture away from my skin and dried quickly on its own.My only issue is that the ends of the Velcro bands are sewn such that the ragged edges of plastic stick out around the edges and rub against my skin. I'm going to have to wrap some moleskin tape around them to cover up the pokey edges.

Works well for my bursitis
Had a complete shoulder replacement about 8 years ago, but recently had some pain again. Ortho indicated it was bursitis and recommended compression. This sleeve works better than any of the other shoulder compression rigs I've tried. I do have a couple of issues with it that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars.1. Even the XXL is a bit small for me. I'm not huge, but am a full-sized adult male (53" chest / 18" bicep). Can get rather constricted around the bicep by the end of the day and the velcro closures used to adjust the size can get scratchy even through a tee shirt.2. Could use a slightly wider band around the chest, or a little more padding. Normally pretty comfortable, but can dig in just a bit by the end of the day.All in all, it's given me more relief than any other brace, and any medications.

This is not a sleeve. The whole thing velcros.
The material seems like good quality and I like the feel of the fabric. However, I was expecting it to be an actual sleeve. But it isn’t a sleeve. The whole thing wraps around your arm and is secured with Velcro pieces that feel scratchy against your skin. Now I understand why everyone is complaining about the size being too small. Although the fabric is stretchy it is limited by the length of the short piece of velcro. You may be able to get it on but the moment you bend your arm or flex your bicep muscle, the short velcro pieces try to pop open. This would have been an excellent shoulder brace if it was made so you can slide your arm into the sleeve (like putting your foot into a sock). The arm would be snug in the sleeve and the strap would support the shoulder. I am returning it to see if I can find a brace that is a sleeve.

FANTASTIC FOR ME !!!
I am a 275 lb., grandmother who took a spectacular tumble down a flight of brick stairs, after slipping on ice. . Broke my hand, wrist and lower arm when I put my right arm out to break my fall... I also jack up my shoulder terribly too. I had a cast on my arm and my ortho dr. recommended this brace both for comfort of wearing it constantly and cost. Best money I ever spent on anything to do with my accident. I cannot begin to tell you how much it helped with my pain. It made all the difference my day to day life. I bought the xxl, had my husband strap me in it from behind every morning and wore it until late at night. Make sure you put it on correctly and then watch yourself heal as if by magic. I wore it for a little over three months straight, once my cast was removed and I wore an arm brace too. At the start, I could not raise my arm , let alone move it well. By the end, I could wash my hair and throw the dog his ball. I hope it helps you too ! Oh, one other thing. Make sure you wear it with a t-shirt underneath. Velcro and skin do not like each other for long periods of time.

Bad Shoulders?
I tried this brace for my shoulder due to the fact that it always dislocates and have subluxations to it. It did not help nor did it fit or feel comfortable. I suffer from EDS and I use braces and compression sleeves all the time but this one was not good. Maybe it was me or just wasn’t the right one but I would not recommend this product for an EDS patient with dislocating shoulders it just made it worse.

Very secure for Golf
I was having pain in my shoulder which hurt when I raised it. I was going on a Mexico golf trip for a week and needed something to help the pain. We played 2 rounds a day for 6 days. This thing is amazing. It helped to significantly reduce the pain so I could play everyday. What is amazing, once I had it on (2rounds per day) it never moved! Stayed in place without problem. I wore it under my polo next to my skin with no problem. Highly recommend!

Strange fit
The upper arm portion is very snug, even when adjusted using the velcro straps, but the shoulder area is too big to provide adequate stability. It creates an uncomfortable gap near the armpit. Just doesn’t quite fit the way I need it to, so I will have to return it.

Money well spent
Bought as a gift for my grandmother who had rotary cuff reconstruction surgery. She stated it was so easy to use and brought comfort during her recovery especially during therapy. She loved she could use it all by herself no help needed and it's adjustable as the swelling went down.
