It is very well constructed and easy to operate. After charging both of the batteries I took it to the creek and it worked great with no issues or need for the instructions. I just wish I had a larger body of water closer by to really let this thing go full speed! It is very fast and handles amazingly well. I was not timing the battery life, but I feel like I had a solid 10-15 minutes without any loss of power. I was having too much fun to notice if the boat was running slower with a low battery. Great toy for the price!

It worked one time out of the box and then a whine started in the engine and it would not work any more after that. Took it completely apart and put it back together thinking it was a short or something but it appears the engine failed within 1 use. Bought for my kids birthday present and have to return it. Would not buy again. Would go with an established brand.****EDIT****Company reached out to me and sent TWO replacements very quickly. I havent had a chance to test them out but will update once again when I can. Customer service is way above average at least!Edit*New boat has been used twice with no issues

Was amazed how fast the boat can skip across the water. So easy to operate and with 2 batteries the excitement never ends. Would highly recommend and buy again.

I had so much fun with this speed boat my first time out. It comes with 2 battery's that are charged from a USB port. Each battery lasts 10+ full throttled minutes. Remotes gives low battery warning. A little sudden. Flipped it only once while I was putting it into the lake. It is pretty easy to flip back over. Motor is protected by only work when the boat is in a water, flipped or not. Totally water right. I really enjoyed it.

We purchased this gift for our grandson's birthday and he absolutely loved it! We live on a very small lake and this toy was perfect. The battery seemed to charge relatively fast and last a reasonable time. In fact, we are thinking about purchasing another one for ourselves so that we can race.

Boat was broken when I received it.Sharkool keeps spamming me with harassing emails because I posted an honest review.They sent me a replacement that was better made a year later.
