Best amp for DIY WiFi speaker array
I looked into different wireless speaker arrays, and found the cost and versatility to be disappointing. Did some research to find that I could essentially make my own wireless speaker array that is much better than Bose or Sonos or Apple or anything else. I purchased the best pair of speakers I could find and a WiFi connecter. This setup was amazing. The sound guy who installed it said he would only recommend this. The amp is perfect because the WiFi dongle (Chromecast Audio or Bose or whatever you want) plugs directly into the amp. So so two speakers. So all you need is one plug for every two speakers. Most wireless speakers need one plug per speaker.I left the amp and WiFi connector in the ceiling. The remote control gives me total access and flexibility. I purchased a bunch of these and installed them all around my entire 7000 foot home. Using Chromecast, I can play music or whatever any combination of speakers I choose, or I can have different music on each pair - not that I would ever want to do that. This was the only amp I could find that has adequate power for any speaker, a usb input for connecting Chromecast, and full digital operations for use with a remote control.

Great little amp!
Great little amp! I had a pair of small speakers left over from a home theater install and I didn't want to waste them. A friend recommended this amp and I'm very happy with the sound. Easy to set up and the remote works great which is a big thing for me because I have it in my office and on all day. But if the phone rings I just mute it from the remote.

Poor Quality and Design.
Poor Quality and Design. The blue LED bar-graph relative audio power "meter might have been a good idea, BUT . . they are blindingly bright even in a brightly sunlit room; in a dark rook when watching TV and using this for the TV sound with external speakers . . .well they are so blindingly bright that they totally distract from the show.Tested this amplifier with a Hewlett-Packard function generator, General Radio Audio power and distortion meter, and looked at output waveforms on a Tektronix oscilloscope. It puts out only about 30% of it's rated "75 watts" when you look at it in honest RMS wattage; and that's with the volume turned all the way up, and it's distorting really badly then.Constant low background hum in the speakers when the amplifier has no signal input, regardless of where the volume control is set - you have to be over 8 feet away from the speakers to not notice the hum (in a quiet room). When given a clean input signal and when it's driving efficient speakers (like 95db/w/1M) and when tthe volume is set low enough to not be in it's distortion range, then and only then is this amplifier even "listenable".Also it gets HOT after it's been on for a while. Oh, and the IR remote control doesn't work from across my tiny 8" x 10" living room - I'd have to get up and be within 4 feet of the amplifier to make the remote work (and then only if it's carefully aimed) so by them I might as well take one step more forward and adjust the thing by hand.Overall I was VERY sorry I wasted my money on this, it's total garbage. I had trouble selling it in a yard sale for $25; finally on the 3rd and last day of the sale I "gave it away" for $10 and quite honestly I felt bad for the person I "ripped off" by selling it to him for the $10.

Nice punch in a small package!
Granted I was a little skeptical about this little amp being able to meet my expectations; but I figured for $55 I'd give the 2x75w unit a shot. I was looking for an amp to power two outdoor speakers (Dual LU43PW) that we wanted to mount on our deck. I liked the fact that this was everything I needed (2-channel, AUX input, bass/treble controls, Component input) and nothing more. I actually installed this unit, then connected my Logitech Bluetooth Adapter to it via audio component cable to the back of the unit so that I wouldn't have to keep coming to the Amp just to change songs. I paired the Bluetooth adapter to my phone, turned on the amp, selected a song to play... then I honestly crossed my fingers in hopes of HALF decent sound. What I got was amazing clarity, bass, and vloume at only 1/3 of the way up!Granted most of the credit probably needs to go to the speakers, but I was highly impressed by the sound output on the amp for such a reasonable price. Now if you are looking to wake up your neighborhood, this probably isn't the unit for you. But if you simply want to listen to music in the comfort of your own deck/patio at a fairly loud volume level or simply want some subtle ambiance to a romantic dinner, then this little guy will fit the bill! The only negative thus far is the fact that the lights on the front of the unit are REALLY bright, so if you plan on setting this amp anywhere near a location with low-light, keep in mind that the room will LIGHT UP blue! Some, like myself, may think this is cool; while others may find it annoying, so it is worth noting. The USB port will only work with a memory stick up to 2 GB (confirmed this) and WILL NOT play any music from an iPod via USB (haven't attempted an Android based phone where music is stored on a memory card though). There are plenty of options around this with other inputs however.

This is a nice little device
This is a nice little device. EXACTLY what I wanted. The only drawback is from the full range on the volume control I have to keep it at .5 otherwise it is TOOOOOOO loud. So this is not really a complaint. Has other features I have not used yet. But it is nice to flick one switch and get music out to my back yard!!

amp
I had to return this product it was not very stable with a 4 ohm load. Probably with 6 or 8 ohm speakers would do a good job.

Gratamente sorprendido
