LEGO 75240 Children's Toy Colourful

The Star Wars Resistance cartoon on Disney+ is a big hit with our children. They watch the episodes repeatedly and lament the fact that it seems to have ended after just two seasons. I can kind of understand; it is the type of straightforward Star Wars stories that children enjoy and get attracted to. Except for a few 3.75” Hasbro figures (that are excellent by the way) there are very few toys tied into this series.However my young 6-year old Imperial brick builder found out that there are couple of Lego Resistance sets available. Following that he barely couldn’t wait until his birthday. He got both the Tie Interceptor and this Major VonReg Tie fighter, as I could get them for a good price.For him the the attraction of the Tie Fighter is huge as it includes minifigures of his hero Kaz but also Bucket (R1-J5) the droid and of course Major VonReg himself, three unique figures. The Liea figure is nice but we already had a fairly similar version of her royal highness from the rebel transport ship. Also I thought the Bucket droid was a bit out of proportion. But still the figures alone would make it worth getting this set.The build of the 496-piece set was quite pleasing and took us about 90 minutes in total. My son can do it himself, but I like to assist him with sorting and finding the bricks, making it a bit of a high-quality joint activity. And the end-result was very satisfying; the colour scheme of this nicely proportioned Tie Fighter is excellent making it stand out against all our other Star Wars Lego spaceships. There is good play value given the sturdy nature of the Tie and the included figures, but also because of the included torpedoes and the ejection seat.

The actual build is very nice and the colour scheme is striking, though it does hurt my soul to not call this a Tie interceptor but whatever you call it the build is on point. Once assebled the swooshabilty is up there with the best of any lego toys out there. I'm sure with the spring firing torpedoes and 4 mini-figs the young first order recruits will have hours of fun playing out their own Star Wars Stories. As for anyone wanting just to display the set then the striking colour scheme and Star Wars looks, will find it a welcome addition to their collection.

As expected from Lego, this is a high quality kit that makes a decent sized model that is easy to play with and has action features for added play value. Also, there were no missing parts and it all fitted together seamlessly. Overall build time was about two hours, so will keep kids occupied.

Nice build, looks great in the red and black. Excellent value when I picked it up at half price I would question if it was worth a lot more but I am happy.

Great fun to build, beautiful when finished.

Really liked this although it did nearly fly out of the window at one point but that was more to my kids acting like rabid ewoks when I built it lol😂Well recommended 😁

Ripeto la recensione sul tipo di prodotto, ottima qualità, ma eccessiva nei costi in fondo e plastica dura colorata, con figure create da un stampo, credo che parlarne con il produttore ssrebbe un ottima cosa venderanno di più con prezzo più accessibile.

tolles Lego-Modell.... ähnlich aufgebaut wie der Original Interceptor nur die Solarpanele am Ende der Flügel sind anders aufgebaut.... was ich nur eben sehr schade finde ist die Preisgestaltung.... eigene Produkte sind ja noch bezahlbar... Friends, City, etc aber sowie die Lizenzgebühr wie in diesem Fall Disney hinzukommen werden die Modelle kaum noch zahlbar. Aber muss man eben sparen... auch eine Art Charakterbildung für Kinder und Erwachsene...
