Works as promised and sounds great!
I bought this for my Technic SL-QD22 and I must say it works perfectly. Shipped fast and was packaged securely to assure a safe arrival. The stylus slipped on and fit perfectly just as promised and really brought the table to life. I also have an Audio-Technica cartridge on there so the two of them paired sound fantastic. Now I'm not some sort of audiophile but I am a bass player of 22 years and like to think my ears have a pretty good sense of what sounds good and what sounds like crap...and this lil' puppy for the money sounds great!

Good stylus for the money
I've got a couple of AT P-mount cartridges and I use this stylus on them. It was the stock stylus on the AT-92ECD and it also fits on my vintage AT 8008, a much more expensive cartridge. It sounds great on both, with that classic Audio Technica sound profile - crisp and detailed, but a bit chilly.

STILL STATE OF THE ART!
When I purchased my first stereo system way back in the early 70's, Audio Technica was the cartridge to have. Still is in my opinion. My 40 year old LP's sound as cool as ever. This cartridge has helped me fall back in love with placing needle on vinyl with all its lovely soft hisses and crackles. Seriously, makes my iPod and digital downloads seem so cold and impersonal.

Too Delicate and Can Get Easily Damaged
Sound is excellent. The only set back is that it is too delicate and can get easily damaged. The stylus that originally came with the cartridge broke after six months of usage. I would suggest not using any hard brushes on this and I would not use any solvents or cleaners with alcohol. This stylus picks up all the detail in your vinyl. You will be pleased with the sound quality. Just remember that it is fragile and needs extra care.

ALWAYS audio technica
As usual, Audio Technica delivers another brilliant product. I have been using their products for my stereo systems for over 25 years, and have YET to be disappointed. As for my turntable, I will accept nothing but Audio Technica products. This stylus is just one of many they offer and all of them are of the highest standard. Additionally, they last longer than any other stylus I have tried. I have talked with other people who use different branded products and based on what they tell me, regarding the comments and complaints they have about their turntables ( specifically the needles ) I am usually able to steer them towards AT. I have not received any negative feedback from them either! I dare say that if you have never tried AT products and you are searching now,...give them a try and I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.Best regards,LKW,Wilson, NC

Very competent stylus at a good price.
This stylus replaced an original one from an early '90s Audio-Technica DR-350. It installed perfectly and seems to bring out the higher, treble frequencies the original stylus seemed to have lost. Can't beat the price.

Alas poor Yorick!
I have not been able to get the stylus to work. The numbers match but it is not clipping onto the arm. This is why I haven't used my turntable in 5 years when the last needle broke. It is not the fault of the seller. Turntables are just annoying and purchasing a stylus on line doesn't work, I have always taken my turntable into a stereo shop and these shops are not around as they were in previous decades. Also turntables are too fragile. I used to have take the entire turntable in to the stereo shop just to fix a needle and rebalance the arm. I am not a tech person, so to me the advent of the CD was nice, more music less hassle and there is no flip side!. But unfortunately I have vinyl records that never even made it on to CD or are out of print. Again this is not the fault of the seller, but it is why turntables are anachronistic other than in the hands of a spinning DJ...too much work. I am just going to bite the bullet and get rid of my vinyl and my turntable. I have been lugging vinyl albums and turntables around with me for decades, like Sisyphus... the wives have come and gone, but the damn turntable is still around and I can't get it to work, either I am in a Dantean Bolga or the 21 century. I get along with my ex-wives well enough, it is just that turntable that is getting me down. But absorbing the cost of the needle was cheaper than the ex-wives...so there you have it. It's a good thing that I won't be around for the next century, I would be a lost Diogenes looking for a CD player! But such is life, sometimes there is a flip side and sometimes there isn't...El Mulo
