I've read some of the reviews here and would have been very confused if I hadn't used this shampoo myself. A lot of conflicting comments: Smell is great, smell is sickening, cleans well, doesn't do anything, thick foam, no foam.....etc. Like people are reviewing different products! Well, provided you got a genuine product from a reputable seller, here is what to expect:I have used this shampoo in many ways. In my IK Foam 1.5 as well as the MJJC Pro V2, it produces thick foam with medium-high dilution. 25ml to 1L in the IK and 75ml to 1L of water in the MJJC where I could leave the soap mixing knob in the middle so one bottle of the solution was enough for two passes over my X5. Foam clinged well and took over 5 mins to slide down the doors, the roof and the hood take forever. I have also used it in 2 different detergent nozzles that came with pressure washers and the results were as expected, just soapy water, no foam. So the foaming action depends on your setup and there is nothing special about this shampoo. From experience, no foam or foaming shampoo will give you thick foam from a supplied detergent nozzle. You need a proper foam cannon and a 1.1mm orifice depending on the foam cannon, pressure and flow rate of your pressure washer. In a bucket, this shampoo produced average suds at best.Cleaning action is ok. I usually do one pass, wait five minutes, rinse it off thoroughly with the pressure washer, then do another pass and follow with a wash mitt and a single water bucket to rinse off the mitt periodically, then rinse the car again with the pressure washer. Car is always squeaky clean at that point as shown in the spotless drying towels. It has a strong cherry bubblegum scent, if you like that smell you'll like this one, otherwise you won't. Personally I love it.I have deduced two stars for value and the fact that there is nothing special about it. If your are going to use it in a foam cannon as a prewash, it costs twice as much as the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam which cleans better at the same dilution ratio and you need to use twice as much product compared to Sonax's own Actifoam Energy which costs the same. If you are buying it for handwashing, I can think of many shampoos that sud better and add some shine to your paint. The only scenario where I would recommend it is if you use it like I do, as a prewash and a main wash because it's a lot more convenient than changing product in the foam cannon or follow the prewash with a two-bucket wash.
