Like most folk, look for a time-efficient solution to most problems, particularly DIY type problems, I would rather be flexing my hobbyist muscles than my power tool muscles thank you. So if you need to screw something on or in, & you don't want to drill a hole first, you just need one of these and a screwdriver, power driver if you have one. Job done in seconds. I am totally hooked on self-tapping screws now. I have built a shed, refurbished a garden bench, hung hanging baskets around the garden, and built a raised bed for my fruit trees with these screws. I thoroughly recommend them for anyone that wants to get the job done, rather than faff around with a bunch of tools to achieve the same result. Obviously, if you are affixing to a wall, you will need to follow the traditional route of drill, wallplug and screw, however for outside work in wood, these are fab!

Easy to use well made

The screw heads are very soft and easily miss shape if a power screwdriver is used and the black coating comes off and goes every where. saying that i have ordered this item 3 times.
