I have repainted my kitchen and I wanted a spot to put memos on occasion. Also, when the grandkids come over, they leave me notes, that I am thrilled to read. I highly recommend this and it’s way better than a picture in the kitchen.

The chalkboard was uniform and did not have flaws. I glued scrabble tiles to it for a Christmas craft and it worked great and was the perfect size.

Bought two for each side of hall door. Used to display travel magnets. Looks lovely. Get lots of positive comments from visitors.

I'm using this chalkboard for psychotherapy, and it's really good. It's lap-sized, so I can sit comfortably and write words or make simple drawings. I primed the board before I used it for the 1st time, and I've had no problems whatsoever erasing what I wrote with a normal felt chalkboard eraser. It seems sturdy and expect it to last through a lot of use. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had been looking for something like a porcelain enamel surface used in standard chalkboards. This seems to be wood or wood-like material painted with blackboard paint. It still works perfectly well though.

I've been looking for a nice magnetic board to hang in my kitchen for a while. This one serves double duty as a chalk board as well! I plan to use this to display decorative magnets, pictures, recipes. The frame is a nice touch!

I like that this is solid wood and neatly made. Material is pine which is not high end but durable light and presents well. Corners are neatly mitered with no gaps. Chalk board itself seems good!

I bought this chalkboard for first day of school pictures for my girls along with other things, as I like to write and personalize as I like. It is perfect and very well made. I also like that it has hooks to give you the option to hang if you'd like. I tested it out today with the chalk markers I bought to use and it wipes off easily, I used a wet wipe. So far so good, very happy.

Overall, this is a nice chalkboard for decor. I'm on the second try, as the first order had a hole in frame, on the front, that was filled very poorly. I returned and reordered. Just received the second one. The frame has marks on it that do not wash off (white frame shows everything). I'm planning on painting it to fix these issues, but I shouldn't have to. The description on the Amazon site says "Works with both chalk and liquid chalk and leaves no ghosting", but the product tag says they recommend regular chalk, and to use special care with liquid chalk. I bought this to use in my kitchen, and I don't want chalk dust on my counters and floors, so I had already purchased liquid chalk. If this doesn't work, I'm returning it, this time for my money back. We'll have to see.
