I bought both versions
It is nicely engineered, surprisingly rigid, has a non-slip base and your fingers are kept safely away from the blade.It is worth every penny but there is a longer version which MAY be more useful.I was so impressed I ended up buying both.

Lightweight Cutting Ruler
Although this ruler is lightweight, the foam strip on the underside allows for controlled and precise positioning when cutting and straight lines (if also used for drawing).

Cutting edge ruler
Ruler is of a good quality and ideal for craft work.

Not easily damaged
Unlike my two previous metal rulers, this one is not harmed by a VERY sharp cutting knife, the thick edge keeps the knife upright and so it does not bite into the metal. The cutting line is very straight with no nicks. Excellent!!

Not as described and not anti-slip
The ‘rubber’ strip for anti-slip is just cheap, flimsy foam. It is neither rubber nor anti-slip. Do not be conned
