Sound Appeal Bluetooth Outdoor Rock Speakers - (Grey Slate)- Stereo Pair

Awesome! These were a breeze to set up and install. They are very durable, so I don't think the wind is going to be blowing these over. They put out a really nice sound, even 20-30 feet away from the speakers. I've only had them installed a day, so longevity may be an issue, but so far I'm very happy.UPDATE: it is just over 4 months after purchase, and the speakers have stopped working. It's cold out, so it's possible that they don't work in cold weather, but my understanding was that these were all weather outdoor speakers, intended to be left out in cold temperatures. The speaker turned on, and my phone showed the Bluetooth device (and connected successfully) but no sound came out of the speakers. The power light was on, and the wiring was all connected (I checked.).I'm kind of hoping there's a quick fix, or I am going to be seeking a refund or replacement. I noticed a few other 1 star reviews that have generated offers for a replacement. Since I do love the look and sound quality of these speakers, I'm hoping the seller will offer that. I will be contacting the seller offline, and will update my review if I receive a pair that doesn't break so quickly.UPDATE #2 - Within hours of contacting the seller (AV-Express) they had contacted me to troubleshoot the issue. We determined that a replacement was in order, and they shipped one free of charge immediately. I sent the old ones back in the same box, with a pre-paid label. The new ones arrived and work just fine - hopefully they will continue to function in the coming months / years. I'll update if anything changes. My review has been changed to a 5-star review.

We bought these speakers in July 2017 for around our pool area. We kept them outside until September; when the pool was closed for the season we brought them inside even though the description says it can withstand heat and cold, and icy conditions. Put them out for the 2018 pool season, worked great. Just moved them outside for 2019 and now they don’t work. The power light won’t turn on and they are completely dead. I cannot see any visual damage and am disappointed they only lasted outdoors for a total of 8 months- at this price I expected them to last quite a few years, especially since we didn’t leave them out for the harsh winter months. Won’t be buying them again

Very few companies surprise me - but AV Express did. I ordered these last April (2015)- and they were awesome. No interference, great sound- all in all a really fun and good looking product for my backyard. But since we get snow in the north east I put them away for the winter. I recently set them up and discovered that they no longer worked. I assumed I was out of luck- but on a lark I emailed customer service and within less than a day I got a response that gave me some suggestions to try to get them up and running. Unfortunately that didn't work so I explained that to customer service. Within a few hours (!) - I got an apologetic response saying they were sorry it didn't work and that they already sent out a brand new replacement. WOW. Seriously-- WOW!- that's rare- and was so a welcomed response. I got my new set today, and agreed to send back the old set so that they can see what went wrong. From my perspective- you can't lose. These guys came through- and the speakers do sound great. Looking forward to another great rocking (get it rocking?) summer! THANKS AVEXPRESS!!!!

These are definitely hefty speakers. Bump into one of these during the night, and your toes will know.I used a set of these on my covered back patio, so I have no experience with their water resistance.Sound quality is good for outdoor speakers. The Bluetooth interface made setup a breeze. It's convenient to sit outside and pick music to play from my phone. There's an annoying "bloop" when the speaker pairs with a source.One speaker is the master, plugged into AC. The other is connected via a long included speaker cable. This inter-speaker connection is the reason this isn't a 5-star product. In my application, I sometimes have 1 speaker outside, sometimes both. Connecting and disconnecting them is a pain. There are a couple screws to attach a cover over the connection on each speaker. There are two more screws on each to attach the wires. I would like this process to be simpler.

I bought these speakers for my backyard gazebo. They blend into the landscaping and provide well-balanced, good sound for outdoor speakers. Friends of mine who have more substantial ($$$) wired outdoor speaker solutions have been impressed with the sound quality. Bluetooth range is good, but requires a clear line of sight; doesn't penetrate walls well if I step inside the house.I bought these back in May 2018 and used them throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons. In late fall, I took them indoors and packed them away to avoid the harsh conditions of a Pocono Mountain winter. When I brought them out again in April this year, the speakers were dead; no sound, no power. They were working perfectly when I put them away in the fall. I called AV-Express and they sent me a new power adapter that arrived 2 days later, promising to replace the speakers if the new adapter didn't solve the problem. Fortunately the power adapter was the problem and I was back to enjoying my speakers. These are excellent outdoor speakers that don't break the bank made better by good people who are easy to work with and support their product. Highly recommended.
