So far, so good!
Received this the other day and hooked it up in my garage for my two very large dogs. Was very happy (as I'm sure were my dogs) to see that the bucket is holding up fine and keeping the water from freezing wonderfully, with nights having been close to zero degrees so far. I had previously used a regular heated bowl that was shallow and messy to bring in to clean the slobber out of and refill. When I went to hook that up this winter, it was apparently broken, as I kept finding frozen water in it, so from then til now I've been using a tin pail, which has been an even bigger pain to bring in, run hot water over to thaw out and release the ice, then clean and refill. This bucket is nice because of its good-size capacity of 2 gallons but especially for it's bucket style which just holds water better and makes for easier trnasporting in and out with its handle. Northern MN winters will be the best test for this bucket, so I will be sure to update this review if it doesn't last through the season. Very happy I purchased it so far...UPDATE: I'm on my second winter using this bucket, and although I did find frozen water in it once, I would still recommend it and give it five stars, as this happened on a night of subzero temps (don't remember the exact temp though--I'm thinking -10 or so). I could still feel that the bottom of the pail was warm, trying to do its job, but it was just too cold out for the water to stay warmed throughout (plus, it was next to the open service door, allowing it to be exposed to some wind as well).

Heated bucket works well.
Nice smaller heated bucket. No place to store cord when not in use. Purchased for an old goat but unfortunately he was sick and did not live long enough to use the heated bucket.

This is a great outdoor kennel bucket for dog
My dog can have fresh water all winter long (we take him inside at night) and no he is never outside below 34 degrees. He prefers to be outside in his kennel, where he is in a shelter as he is a specialized trained K9. This bucket ensures that he has fresh water without it being frozen between the times I walk him. thanks for the great product! No issues so far in the month I have been running it.

work great
These buckets have been great for my ducks. I did find that I had to hang them. When they sit in water (melted snow in this case), they don't work. I took the bottom off and dried them out good, and they were fine.

Heated pet-bird- animal bucket.
I have alot of stray cat, bird, squirrels at my house. I have struggled to find something that doesn't freeze. The picture is with it being-5 below Fahrenheit. Water had no ice.

2-Gallon Heated Water Bucket - Farm Innovators
I really like this heated bucket. The water temp seems cold to the touch, but does not ice over. The standard plastic 2 gallon water bucket (sitting beside Farm Innovators) was frozen solid. I have the water bucket on the outside on the walkway beside my house, plugged in to an outlet. The Nighttime Temperature was in the 20s for 2-3 days. Then back to low 30s-40's with daytime highs upper 40s to 50 degrees. Kentucky weather really changes quickly. This is why I like the Farm Innovators Heated Water Bucket. It is exactly the ice-free water container I needed for my dog, Edna is a medium size , 13 year old part Chow and drinks a lot of water, summer and winter. In the freezing parts of winter I would rotate 2 buckets, keep 1 inside to thaw, clean it, and refill with fresh water. I have seen the fresh water bucket ice over in less than 20 minutes, making it difficult for Edna to get a drink. I really hope this unit will last several winters. I really like it and recommend it to others.

Working so far
We got this for some chickens, and so far it is doing it's job. The weather has been down in the 20s while we've had it. We don't get sub-zero temps here very often.
