Student's Quest Guide: Aristotle Leads the Way: Aristotle Leads the Way (The Story of Science)

I have not used this curriculum before, but I have used Joy Hakim's The Story of Us history books and love them. She has a way of making history come to life through her writings. I expect the same with this science series. There are things that I have read that I don't necessarily agree with because of my Christian beliefs, but I can discuss this with my children when the readings contradict our beliefs. There are only a few though.

Very useful workbook to accompany The story of Science. As a busy home school parent it's wonderful to be able to have faith in a solid curriculum. I'm looking forward to getting caught up with my son, but in the meantime I can trust his brain is being challenged. He's learning stuff he wouldn't normally gravitate to, as an accomplished young naturalist, and loving it.

As a teacher, it was really nice to find a student guide to go with the text book. I often have to make my own worksheets and this book will save me some time in my lesson preparation.

This workbook does not follow the textbook that it supposedly accompanies. It asks questions that assume very specific knowledge that is not covered in the textbook at all. That is ridiculous enough. But then it even asks questions on concepts that aren't covered in the text, which leaves the kids even more stuck since they don't even know what it is they need to look up or ask about to answer the question.So the questions in the workbook are bad, but surely there must be some text or perspective that the workbook adds to make up for this, right? Wrong. This thin workbook, filled with silly cartoons, does not add any content. It's useless.My copy went straight into the garbage, along with the textbook and teachers' guide. This trio is not worth spending any time on whatsoever. A total waste.

My boss had me order these for the boys that I take care of. She was very happy with her purchase and recommended this item to three more of her friends.
