So Delicious Dairy-Free Organic Coconutmilk Beverage, Vanilla, 32 Ounce (Pack of 6) Plant-Based Vegan Dairy Alternative, Great in Smoothies Protein Shakes or Cereal

I love my Amazon Prime membership. I love buying here on Amazon, do it all the time for my personal needs. Being an old lady my needs aren't like most Amazon customers and living alone also makes me more unique. I have chosen to consume this product but only the organic version as I attempt to use organic most the times I have that choice or something very close to that.This is not a thin watery milk as I find rice milks to be, and it has the more rich like taste on oatmeal or in smoothies that I prefer over rice milks. It's comparable to almond milk in that it has some body to it and to me it does not taste at all like coconut. I just went and took a swig out of the cartoon to absolutely verify that for you. It does not taste like coconut but perhaps it helps that I buy not only the organic version but the vanilla version whenever I find a good price on that version. Again I enjoy the richness of it and the thickness of it or the full body of this coconut milk. 1 cup has 80 calories and unlike almond milk, it contains no protein, so that might be a drawback for most folks.I use it other ways and do not notice the taste interfering or offending those foods or dishes. But again I cook simple meals and not ever anything fancy or intricate, have spent enough time in the kitchen over my years on this planet. Keep it simple or forget it.Now here's the issue I have with buying this product on Amazon.com. They attempted three times, bless their hearts, to ship me 6 cartons of this product to my post office. The first time was a real disaster but I allowed that because it was when Amazon was expanding their operations and I'm sure the shipping department had many wrinkles to work out. The shipment ended in disaster as those 6 cartons were bouncing around in a box way to big for them and they were in a single closed heavy plastic bag. But the cartons where so badly damaged I wasn't going to consume them and several had leaked some. Pretty much the same thing happed with the second shipment, which involved a book that wasn't wrapped at all inside a box that was again too large, didn't bother the other item in the box. But again damaged cartons I wasn't going to consume, and there was a tad more packing material inside the box but not nearly enough. The third time more packing material but still not enough and box was still too big.I hope they've worked this out. I would suggest if you are buying this item that you inquire as to how it's now being shipped or you may run into this same issue. I was told they would remove this product's availability. When I order it from another source, they wrap each carton individually and nothing in their boxes that are vulnerable, ever moves around inside the box. Not ever.But this is a good product and does not taste like coconut. It's has a rich body to it and adds to my life in a good way.

All the milk boxes were carelessly loosely placed in a clear plastic bag then into the shipping box with no support rending 1 box of milk pierced causing a leaky mess found upon opening the box. The leak was contained within the plastic bag but it caused the remaining 5 boxes to be compromised. Disgusting!!!

I have been ordering this product for a long time, and have only given it 4 stars in the past. But... they just finally changed the opening from a "flip" style to a "screw" style cap, and I love it! The old flip top cap was okay, but when ever I would shake the box before each use, a small amount of mild would drip out of the opening. Well not anymore.. thumbs up for the new change!!

Some where busted open easy refund

My go-to milk. It's been difficult to keep in because my grocer runs out of inventory. I'm really pleased to discover the availability of So Delicious on Amazon and it's very convenient to order in packages of 6 or 12 liters! They're dated 18 months from now so they're fresh and in aseptic packaging -- I can relax about freshness. The Vanilla is wonderful on unsweetened grain cereals.

I was looking for a change from dairy. Like the reviews on how creamy this product was. I found it to be slimy just in itself. I am using it in protein shakes presently but will be going back to soy as my preference

I like the flavor and ingredients. I just don't like chewing my milk. Is the company sending their lesser-quality boxes to Amazon for resale rather than directly to grocery stores?So Delicious - be warned! If this happens again, I will return all 6 containers. I'm a good customer and you should be treating your good customers better!!!
