WORXCordless String Trimmer 20V 2 in 1 Trimmer and Edger WG162 (Battery & Charger Included)

What’s not to like about this little guy. For me, the battery has outlasted me ( I’m old) !!! So it works perfect for me and does it cut that grass and weeds!! I’ve used it twice now for lengthy times. I’m sorry but I have yet to time the battery. I haven’t had to replace any string yet and believe me I put it through it’s paces. I like the button on the bottom to let out more string. I’ve only done that twice to get the string back to length but it wasn’t all that short.The trigger is easy but not so easy a child could make it run. You push a button before you can press the trigger.It’s so easy to put together, use and makes quick work of trimming. ( of course the time it takes to get the trimming done depends on the size of the job).All in all a very good buyUpdate: I LOVE this trimmer. I am a septuagenarian so muscles aren’t like they used to be so it’s awesome how little muscle it takes to use this baby. I’ve used this trimmer a LOT and had to use a new spool… I mean hey, that first little spool lasted beautifully. I’m just so impressed with this trimmer. It’s usually problems with the string on trimmers. The constant stopping to fix the string but none of that happens with this guy. Sure the string breaks off at some point but its so light weight that it’s easy peasy. I’m just so very happy with this trimmer.

This is lightweight and easy to use. The auto feed works well...there is a button that feeds the line that you can use manually which I prefer.Can use as a trimmer, but that function isn't as easy...I don't have much trimming so it works for me.Battery lasts a long time.Love the wheels...I finally have perfect edges like my neighbor!!! 😁

This dealer has by far the best price. Arrived very quickly. Assembly was simple. Trimmer works great. Suggest edging straight lines with wheels on hard surface but run the edger with wheels in the grass on curves to avoid excessive line wear on the hard edge. Dual wheels work better than single wheel on other trimmers. Negatives are relatively minor, but results in only 4 stars. First, the forward (lower) handle has too much play and wiggles back and forth when using the trimmer, especially as an edger. Second, as with my other WORX products, the lack of a battery level gauge (lights) on the batteries is frustrating. My old Toro gave me the battery charge remaining so I knew whether to take an extra battery from storage when using the trimmer. WORX trimmer has a decent battery run time, but not knowing whether or not I will need a second battery makes trips back to storage a pain. Recommend buying the product in spite of the shortcomings.

I love the adjustability of this product. You can adjust the length of the main shaft, the angle of the cutting head, and the tilt of the cutting head. It is very lightweight, and very quiet, but has not failed any cutting I put before it. Not a lot of use for the edger, but it does work, and the wheel makes it super easy. It came with the battery and a charger and a spool of cutting thread, and the assembly was super easy. It was up and running in minutes. A great tool. Can't speak for the longevity yet, as I have only owned it for a few weeks, but despite it being lightweight, it looks and feels very sturdy and well put together

Best lawn tool I own. Will not live without this tool. Edges your lawn in seconds and great week wacker!!!

For small jobs and light use only.This is definitely not a heavy duty trimmer. The string it comes with is worthless - swap that out with a heavy-duty line, and it'll work much better. The motor is underpowered, and the battery that comes with it dies pretty fast. The tilt head and swivel neck for edging are super convenient. I definitely like that feature and the wheel on the edge.Overall, this tool is great for light lawn/garden maintenance and edging, but if you've got thick stubborn grass or weeds, or a lot of work to do, opt for something else.

I must have been one of the lucky ones most of the reviews say the battery sucks it last 5 minutes or 10 minutes or 15 minutes it breaks it's hard to put together yada yada mine was completely put together I just had to put the guard on the bottom with a Phillips head screw driver and the wheels just snap on for the edger but the height adjustment all you do is move a little clasp over and you can adjust it and push the clasp back in the middle I don't know how long mine charged I put it in the charger and went up to my room and fell asleep but the next day it was obviously fully charged I was eager to try it on a full charge and I did my complete yard and my yard is an acre and a half and I'm disabled I wobble when I walk so I don't do it as fast as a normal person wouldI mean all of the bricks around the house all 20 bushes alongside the driveway all the trees around the house Big trees I didn't edge yet but I will for the meantime I just weedeated all along the edges of the road around the yard and the driveway and the sidewalk I didn't even know there was a hose underneath all of the weeds that had grown so tall on the side of my house 😁. I Love Mine! I bought the wg-162 model and if you scroll down it says frequently bought together I bought the six pack of spools that came with it frequently bought together I only had to replace the spool One Time by the way that was kind of challenging as soon as I took the end from the clip that held it together it kind of shot out like a cannon and it took me a while to roll it back up to where I could put it through the circle in the guard before I could snap it on but other than that it's been perfect oh and automatic feed I don't have a button on my handle like all the videos show but there's a little teeny button on the very bottom that you push three times and it resets the automatic feed system and I did keep checking all the way through the cut but I didn't have to because it fed the spool automatically the whole entire timeDavid P.You can imagine how long it took me to do the weed eating it took me 3 hours to cut our grass that's because we have the Grass full of clovers that are just so incredibly thick from raining all the time it's just incredible it's been 75° here for 3 days in a row and some of them are still wet in areas and the mower cuts off clogged up I do the whole yard with a push mower in my condition it would normally take four men in fit condition to do our yard but they charge too much with rider mowers and power weed eaters etc when while I still can I can do it myselfI'm going to plus it's the only way I can still get outside I used to be able to do it in a snapoh and it's supposed to rain the next 3 days in a row so the clovers would be ridiculous by the time they ever dried out enough for me to cut it again

This trimmer is light weight and easy to use. Good battery life as promised. Purchased for my wife and she couldn't be happier with it. She has tried many others over years and this definitely the best.
