Description is misleading
The pictures of the product are very misleading. I thought this would be comparable to the leg stabilizers you recieve from the hospital. IT IS NOT!!! The entire piece is a piece of foam comparable with a foam egg crate mattress topper. The only mechanism to keep you leg from bending in the metal bar running down the backside of the item. The foam is not very durable either. I don't think it will last very long. I am very disappointed with my purchase as the seller wants me to pay $18 to return. I feel scammed. Buyer beware! I could have bought a better one for $6 more. Wish I could give it zero stars!!

Secure fit
This was adequate in I mobilizing my leg. It was longer than I thought so help was needed with putting it on.

Very comfortable support
I was given a torture device in the hospital to keep my leg straight before getting surgery for a torn quadriceps. This support is SO much more comfortable. The trimmable foam completely wraps the leg, eliminating hard edges that can press into swollen flesh. I actually keep it on for hours itโs so comfortable.Has plenty of broad Velcro straps to hold everything together. Itโs stiffened with a built in metal band in the center AND two additional left and right hand Velcro-covered strips that are patient located (according to their leg size and preference). Altogether well thought out and a great purchase.

Comfortable
This, is much better than the one the hospital gave me. It's very comfortable for me and was easy to trim the top part that stuck out a bit much. I highly recommend this one over the hospital's contraption any day!

Beats a trip to the ER
No stranger to knee injuries....knew that it was swollen and they couldn't get a clear image. Also knew that I had to keep it fully supported to prevent further damage. If I had gone to the ER, they certainly wouldn't have admitted me for this, would have taken X-rays and charged me for images that would not help anyone, and I would have had huge co-payment. I have been able to keep the knee from being jostled, and damaged further, Ice it, give the muscles a break, and, at least in the house, not have to deal with the crutches, sore hands, bruised armpits. To make this full adjustable, you have to actually mount the side stays in place which is a little difficult, because when you move to apply the side stays, your leg shifts. When you are upright again, the darn things aren't straight and midline. Took a great deal of adjusting to get the side support right. The two supports in the rear of the brace are already built in, but when you get these things in the hospital, the rear support is usually three to five rods depending upon your size and weight-this is only two. Delivery was earlier than expected which was good. The straps are not anchored to the brace itself, but rather to the side stays on the outside of the brace, I have had them come detached, but was able to put them back in place. If you haven't been to this rodeo before, by all means, go to see your DR, urgent care, emergency, but if you know the drill, this is a really inexpensive way to keep everything in order until the swelling and bruising subsides enough to get a real opinion of what the extent of damage would be.
