The book appears to be well written and well worth your cash. Honestly speaking, I haven't read it all yet, but given what I have looked at, I am quite impressed. The doctor covers everything from diabetes, to lacerations, to spider bites, specific women's related issues, to probably everything else in between. Since my Crew has a lot of females, this will be important for them to know, as well as for me. The book is easy to read, hasn't been dumbed down, but doesn't require an advanced degree to understand. He's pretty much found the sweet spot here in writing a book which is easy to understand and use. Is it worth it? Right now, yes. And while I hope I never need any of the information, I'm certainly glad I'll have this available in my shirt pocket. Be Prepared!

As a Paramedic Instructor I find all the First Aid procedures and explanations presented in this book to be both up to date and easy for the reader to understand. this book also covers all the current requirements for WFA classI will be recommending this to all my First Aid Students

This book is a mandatory for boy scout outings, haven't been certified as an EMT I have to say that this book is good, but not great. It leaves a lot of stuff out and cover stuff that doesn't really pertain.

Wilderness First Aid Medicine--Short, excellent chapters, super important info. Book built like a brick house. Highly recommend. Must read before every hike for yourself and for others. Being prepared makes your trip easier and much more valuable.

It was easy to read. Good illustrations. Good reference guide.
