Constantly inconsistent (editied 5/20)
I've ordered this product several times, and it's different pretty much every time. My first few orders were correct- 8.5x11 and the paper said "laser decal paper" on the back. Then I started receiving A-4 sized sheets, even though I was ordering 8.5x11. The product still worked great, but I had to adjust my artwork to fit the paper. Now, my most recent order of 3 packs of 20 sheets, I received one large package of 60. Nowhere does it say sunnyscopa on it- there's no branding anywhere. The paper itself doesn't say laser decal paper anywhere on it, and it has a matte finish. The decals come out extremely brittle, which wasn't a problem on any of my previous orders. I have customers waiting on orders so I'm going to use what I can, but I'm definitely sending the rest back and hopefully they'll get this straightened out.Edit: it appears to be a distribution problem. The bad paper was sent by world-paper, who is an affiliate and apparently sent a lesser quality paper. If your order is coming from sunnyscopa, your product should be high quality.*Edit 5/20Since I posted this review, I've probably ordered about 600-700 sheets, and they've been fantastic. Never again have I received the wrong stock, and it's always arrived in just two business days. I'm very happy with it and have had no complaints from customers either.

Great company!
I received this paper and used it only to realize later that the decals are not dishwasher safe. The images print nicely on the paper using my Brother laser printer and the decals apply nicely. After my initial concern about the decals not being dishwasher safe, I received a nice response from a Sunnyscopa representative named Jimmy. He was extremely helpful and conscientious about his business. So much so that he sent me a different paper that is dishwasher safe. I haven’t used it yet but am eager to do so. This is a great company and they stand by their products.

Very high quality and MUCH better than expected. 10/10 performance.
After reading some of the other reviews I was very skeptical but thought, "What that heck." Anyway, I needed to reproduce some decals for a vintage model rocket. The decals that came with the rocket were 30 years old and unusable.I scanned the old decals and printed them on this clear decal paper using an HP Color LaserJet M553. The decal paper fed without issues and printed cleanly. I used an Exacto knife to cut out the decals and then installed them onto my rocket.I placed each decal in a warm bowl of water for about a minute and then slid each decal off of the backer paper onto the rocket. I was able to easily slide them into perfect position before blotting them with a dish towel while they dried. The installed easily and cleanly and conformed to the details of the rocket. The texture that you see in the pictures is the texture from the tail fins and body tube. These decals conformed into the grain of the balsa wood used in the tail fins.Overall, I would purchase these again. The worked perfectly. 10/10.

better tan the rest that I tested
I used to get my decal paper from DecalPaper.com, unfortunately they went out of business, I thought their's was the best.I tested these three brands:Laser clear from Blinggasm - awful stuff, it crinkled after I sprayed it with clear acrylic spray.Royal Elements - I found the film way too thin, it was hard to position without wrinkles and easily tore.Sunnyscopa Laser Waterslide Decal paper - by far the best of the three. The film is not too thick or too thin,it positions easily and it holds the image well. It held up well after I rubbed it to remove a oil varnishI had a applied by mistake. I'll stick with this brand!

Makes Nice Decals
UPDATE - WHITE Decals - This review is actually for the WHITE decals and the below is for the clear. But Amazon won't let me do separate review for the 2 different products apparently. I will still give the White decals 4 stars. They are pretty much the same as the clear but for the fact that the decal prints on a white background. Same issue with streaking in the printer, but still apply easily and look good. Unfortunately the white decals were shipped in an envelope and were creased when they arrived so a quarter of the paper is unusable. Overall not a bad product.CLEAR DECALS - I have never used Laser decal paper before so decided to try it since sealing the inkjet decals is a pain. The paper feeds fine in my HP Laserjet. For my first try I printed 6 decals for mugs on one sheet but was only able to use the first two because the toner picked up from them and smeared on the paper below ruining the remaining images. So now I just print two at the top, cut them off, send the paper back through and print two more and then have to tape the last strip to a carrier sheet and send it through. This works sometimes and sometimes not. But beyond wasting a bit of this expensive paper, they are very easy to apply. After drying I bake them in the oven at 300 for 20 minutes and you can hardly tell they are a decal. However, they still scratch if you aren't careful. Made myself a mug with a dollar store mug and glued rhinestones on. It is cute so I am happy with the product.

Amazing results, easy to use.
I do fine-scale modeling and needed a way to make custom decals. This "paper" works great with my color laserjet! The only two things you should be aware of are 1) you can't print White (of course, but some people don't think about it) and 2) the decals are thin so they are translucent and affected by the background color of whatever you put the decal on top of.But if you do your part in planning out your decal(s) and locations, the "paper" will do it's part in giving you a thin and easy to work with waterslide decal.

Product easy to use
Product came very fast. Bought this product because the inkjet version of waterslide I bought from a different maker would not work in my printer. This printed very well on Canon Laser printer with no problems. Colours were very vibrant on paper. Very easy to use and backing came off without fighting it. Was able to lay my design onto a wine glass and get the wrinkles out without any issue. Although I bought clear paper you can still see the edges of the paper on your glass. My second design I cut closer to the art work so it would not be as noticeable. I would do a precise cut on my art work next time. Would recommend this product and vendor.

The Gold Standard for laser clear decal paper
This product is what all others in its specific category shall be compared to. Excellent quality, the urethane layer is thick enough to keep from wrinkling too much during the application process, but thin enough that it doesn't require too many top coats to hide the edges.Highly recommended. There are other fine waterslide decal paper brands out there (A-Sub, Hayes, etc...) but this particular brand is the reference, at least here on Amazon.caThe other equivalent brand - Koala is also recommended if this one isn't available, or is beyond your price.

Great for DIY logos
I use this in a cheap Lexmark color laser printer to make logos for my guitars. I followed the included instructions for printer settings and it came out great first time. Application was about the same as pre-made waterslide decals in plastic model kits from my youth - bit of care and practice needed but nothing really special. I cover mine with Varathane clear spray to match the rest of the guitar, and with light sanding between coats the decal edge "blends" and disappears. I can get a lot of logos onto a sheet, which makes it great value for me. The only downside is that any one-off decals you might need would still use up a full sheet (bit wasteful), as most laser printers won't play nice with odd shaped or sized left over part sheets.

Decal would split without being touched
After reading the instructions several times, I printed several pages that turned out very nicely. I cut the decals and then tried a test. The first one curled and split as it curled - threw it away. Second, held it flat, made sure to not apply outward pressure, decal split. Same again on every other attempt. The paper was kept in the original packaging before and after printing. Tried several decals from several sheets, all the with same results. Garbage and waste of money.
