I have been wanting an official flower shaker to use before scoring my sourdough bread. This is affordable and helps dust the boules perfectly with flour. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this! It's easy to clean and has survived doubling as a microphone for my kids.

I try to use natural means of pest control in my garden and have tried other contraptions to apply diatomaceous earth underneath my plants…even ones that are made specifically for diatomaceous earth (DE). This dusting wand works so well and sprinkles the diatomaceous earth so evenly compared to any other method or device that I have tried that I bought a second dusting wand for my garden as a backup in case it ever breaks or comes up missing. This dusting wand also makes it very easy to refill with minimal loss of of the DE when I have it in a mason jar. Since I have the DE in a jar tall enough to keep the wand in the jar, too, I don’t see the need to wash it very often so I should have little to no rusting if it is truly stainless steel. Very happy with this purchase!

This wand is perfect for my bread and pasta making no get a light dusting of flour. I could use it for powdered sugar, though I haven’t tried that yet. This will get a lot of use.

This works really well. I used to decorate my cakes and cookies with powdered sugar using a small strainer. This little gem gives me more control over where the sugar goes.

I never knew I needed one of these until I used it and I'm so happy I have it. It is super easy to use and distributes flour really well. A fine mesh sieve was always too much. It's not the easiest to clean, but maybe that was my own fault. I got it wet so the flour inside formed a paste which was hard to clean because the ball doesn't come apart so you have to twist one side then the next. But, then when you twist it, it just smeared some of the paste. Again, probably my fault. Don't get this thing wet in the middle of your baking. And make sure all the flour is empty before soaking it. That's my tip! Recommended!

This dusting wand is sturdy and easy to use. I've tried it with flour when baking bread and with powdered sugar on cream puffs, and it worked so great, providing and nice, light dusting. I wish I had gotten one ages ago!

Never knew this existed and just happened upon it - I have always had trouble getting flour on the tube in a pound cake/angel food cake pan. This little tool does the trick!Will also use for dusting powdered sugar or cocoa on cookies, etc.......I love it - wish I had known about this years ago!
