Works on my Kolpin Fuel Pack
This spout is absolutely awesome compared to those modern eco-spouts. I purchased this for my Kolpin Fuel Pack. To be honest, it's not a perfect fit because the seal is slightly smaller in diameter than the original spout which means that it can become off center when I am tightening down the threaded cap. However, if I am just careful about it I have no trouble centering it up & tightening the cap down so it does not leak. But, what do you expect when it's designed for a different brand right?... The reason I bought it is because the original cap for the Kolpin model has this red cover made of VERY thin plastic that will obviously puncture if anything ever bumps it. This replacement spout has a yellow plug that is much more heavy duty & I have a lot more faith that it won't ever fail out on the trail & leak my gas all over the place. The fact that this spout is also flexible, self venting, & not one of those pain in the butt eco-spouts is also a great feature.

Its a vented funnel that should have come with the gas tank, Not the one that leaks.
The one that came with the fuel tank leaked and was poorly designed! This is the one that should be with the tank and I had to pay extra for it! Enough said!!

Replaced a Rotopax fuel spout
I used the gas can fuel spout on an expedition with my motorcycle and found the original spout very difficult to use in that application. This spout is much easier to pour. However, with changing elevations, the spout did leak at the cap. In retrospect, perhaps swapping out the gaskets from the original fuel spout might have prevented that, but I cannot say for certain. I did not lose enough fuel to be a hazard, but it did discolor the plastic on my water Rotopax. If you're going to swap it - keep an eye on it. My water Rotopax uses this spout and it worked flawlessly the entire trip. YMMV.

Great addition to a rotopax
I do a lot of Jeeping and sometimes those trips are multi day long trips. I purchased a rotopax to carry some extra fuel, but the stock filler nozzle that comes with them are horrible. This is the perfect replacement nozzle. While it says it is for water, it works perfect for gas also. I used it twice in the last month and it pours the gas into the Jeep perfectly. Pours fast with no leakage. If you have a rotopax, you need this to replace the horribly designed spout that comes with them.

When it isnt leaking poors gas well...
After about 2 months the gasket went bad and started leaking, on top of my car where its mounted. It essentially broke down and tore. I noticed it on the trail because it was leaking everywhere on my car. So buy a set of better gaskets. The spout itself works wonderfully. It pours easy with little to no mess, much better than the poorly designed one that comes with the rotopax tanks. Why dont they come with the proper one out the gate? Naive question I know. Just disappointed I paid premium for all the ROTOPAX stuff and they cheaped out on a 5 cent gasket making it all worthless since it couldnt hold fuel anymore.update, after new gasket the yellow stopper cracked and is leaking. Rotopax please make this right, i tried paying the premium for "quality stuff" but this is so disappointing...

Does what it supposed to do, but the supplied gasket is bad and leaks...
The media could not be loaded. It would be 5 stars. It works much better than the original, so called "ECO" / EPA and CARB compliant spout, that comes with RotopaX fuel cans.Unfortunately, the "rubber" gasket supplied with this spout is made of some rigid plastic material (PVC?) instead of an actual rubber, and it doesn't seal well. The original gasket is a bit thicker and much more flexible. You can transfer the original gasket to the new spout, but it puzzles me why the manufacturer switched to lower quality gaskets...
