nectar Paperback – October 1, 2019

I love this so much almost as much as I love soft magic. It is such an inspirational and uplifting poem book that makes me feel so many emotions. I LOVE UPILE CHISALA!!! If you are women this book is especially for you, the way she puts words together is magical. Upile is a magician with words and it is evident in this book.

I didn't think it was possible for more of Upile's work to strike me at my core. She has a beautiful way of crafting stories and communicating her hurt, pain, love, softness until it radiates to your center and you feel more full because of it. Beautiful work of art. Strongly suggest getting the hard copy.

Upile's poetry is much needed for women of color because it's relatable and promotes healing, self-love, and reflection. Nectar has a theme of letting go of old demons, family burdens, and unhealthy relationships. It's so good, I wanna rip some of the pages out of the book and place on my wall as daily reminders.

Love, love, love this book. It is beautiful and inspirational. Chisala's poetry is a true breath of fresh air. Honest, kind, and empowering

I love Upiles poetry, she carries her strength in her teeth and shows that in all of these books. I read them over and over for strength!

This book was amazing. I was hooked after reading the first poem. Short but powerful poems!

A lot of her work leaves me speechless, this book is beautifully written. This book has worked as a form of therapy for me, it has taught me self love also.
