I used this to remove a bolt tht was rounded off on a motor mount. It work very well and held up with my impact wrench.

I have purchased multiple Topec Extractor sets since February 25, 2021. I have the 5-Piece Heavy Duty Nut Bolt Remover set, 18-Piece Stripped Bolt Extractor Kit, 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set, 13pc 2-in-1 Screw Extractor Set and a second 25Pcs Screw Extractor Set. These have been being used daily in my two shops without fail. The material is of high quality and have never once had a tool fail or break during use. All the sets come in a nice sturdy case that keeps all pieces in order. I have had some of my workers loose or misplace a few pieces from the sets but after reaching out to Topec, they provided a way to get me the replacement pieces which was great. Overall, great quality tools at very good prices that will do exactly as described, if you know what you are doing and how to do it!

UPDATE: I had to repurchase these because I cannot find most of my sockets. The reason I rebought these is because I went to AutoZone because they had a different brand, but I thought they would work. More like hoped, then knew they would. Sure enough the teeth completely stripped on the first try. China's finest garbage. So, I decided to rebuy these given my previous success as described below. And with a little bit of "shocking" the threads with a metal impactor, and these amazing sockets, they came out. I had three that were already stripped from using a 3/8 socket. These have special teeth on them. So, the tighter you torque the bolt, the more grip. I was able to get out all the bolts with these. Love these sockets. I tried other brands that just failed. Head bolts are the toughest bolts you will ever have to take out of a car besides rusted exhaust. Get these before you start your project.I wish I would have purchased this item sooner before buying other kits and trying my other bolt out kits. This worked great. I had to get out a stuck head bolt from my engine. OF COURSE.....the last one. It was so stripped I was out of options. That is till I give these 'men' a try. I wanted something with grip that was not going to just stripping the bold more. So these puppies arrived. And after having to pound the socket on the bold and some muscle...it came right out. What makes these so good is their quality to take a pounding. The most important is the teeth. The more you turn the bolt the more the teeth dig into the bolt. They are super short strong edges. This was one of the best I have ever used. I wish they would create a big 100 piece set or something. Like for those 4 mm bolts and those large 20 mm bolts. Wink wink!!

I used the 5/8" 16mm extractor to remove some very stubborn Pitman Shaft bolts on the top of a Steering box. Impact socket rounded 2 of them while trying to break them loose with a 1/2" impact. Think they were torqued to about 800 ft lbs. Because of the tight working space, I used a 15/16" wrench on the Nut part of the extractor (which i really like) and a cheater pipe & was able to break the bolts lose. I was really worried that this was going to slip because the extractor fit pretty lose on the bolt head and there wasn't any other size i could use since these go from 14mm to 16mm and nothing in between. Felt like i really needed a 15mm, but i put the 16mm on there and turned and it grabbed and did the job. I gave this item 4 stars because in other places the manufacture (or seller) states that these are "High Carbon Steel" but they are not. I can tell they are not "High Carbon" because of the marks left on the teeth inside the extractor after use, and because of how i used this tool and because it did not slip or anything, if it were High Carbon it would have cut into the softer metal without leaving marks inside the tool. But anywho, it worked well for what i needed and the price was good. This is one of those tools you hope you never need, but are happy they are there when you do.

Worked like a charm, absolutely outstanding! Didn't have a wrench or bar with a 1/2" drive though and had to borrow from someone but once I got it I was home free and got that stripped acorn nut out. EXCELLENT!

Did the job for me. Had a striped nut and this save me from a lot of headaches for sure.

I needed a tool that would remove a rounded off nut on my trailer suspension. I had tried a vise grip and a pipe wrench with no success. I then attached one of these sockets to the nut with my breaker bar and it loosened immediately. It saved me a couple hundred dollars at a trailer shop.

I stripped my plan plug and these worked perfectly! I highly recommend them!

Soft metal motorcycle drain plug was seized and head rounded out. First tried attaching this nut extractor with a socket wrench did not bite well. Then tried an impact gun and it worked easily. No damage to the extractor socket. Saved me a lot of additional cost taking the bike to the shop.

Nothing beats real user reviews and this product had the best reviews. Upon receiving it, I looked it over and it seemed to be well made and of good quality and well designed. That even goes for the case! As a former mechanic, I was extremely dubious but the reviews were good. I had one bolt that was destroyed by some incompetent amateur. It was impossible to remove without using oxy or welding something to it. See pic! There was enough of a head left. Could this tool actually work??? If it didn't shift the first time round...it's all over. Back to plan B. I assembled the correct size socket, extension and ratchet and...boom! Success. It gripped without slipping and the bolt was removed. Amazing and definitively a worthwhile purchase. Highly recommended.
