Q: is there a fee to print the labels once i have designed them? one of the reviews says there is a printing fee.

These labels are blank and are intended for you to print in a desktop laser or inkjet printer. This product comes with an activation code for Online Labels' web-based design software, Maestro Label Designer. The software helps to make designing and printing onto the labels easy. The activation code that comes with the product can be found on the packing list included with the order. That activation code gives you access to using the software (without a watermark) for 12-month period. If you don't print the labels within the 12-month time period and you don't want the watermark to show up on the design, you can make another purchase to get another activation code or you can contact Online Labels' support and they will provide a courtesy extension to the activation code. There is no fee to use or print from the software. Feel free to reach out to Online Labels' support with any additional questions.

Q: Does the existing label on the water bottle show through this label?

This product (Online Labels' product code OL1159WX) isn't going to be opaque enough to block out a label underneath it. I would recommend that you remove the existing label on the bottle before putting this label onto the water bottle rather than putting the label over the top of it. If you would like to see how it is going to look, you are welcome to request a few sample sheets from Online Labels since they offer free samples for testing. Q: Could you make a bumper sticker with this paper?

There are 3 versions of this product listed. The paper-based version (Online Labels' product code OL1159WX) will not hold up well in outdoor conditions and I would not recommend it for this purpose as the material and your inks will break down when exposed to outdoor conditions. The materials used for the waterproof versions of this product (Online Labels' product codes OL1159LP for laser printing & OL1159WJ for inkjet printing) will hold up in outdoor conditions, but I'm not sure that I would recommend these products for use as bumper stickers. The materials themselves will hold up, but the ink or toner from your printer will likely fade quickly when exposed to sunlight and outdoor conditions. You are welcome to request a few sample sheets from Online Labels at no charge if you would like to try the product to if it works for your needs. Q: Do you print on the back side of these labels (a reverse image)? i'm trying to figure out how they can make an inkjet print somehow waterproof!

No you cannot print on the backside(reverse image) this is the adhesive side. No they are not waterproof. I used them on water bottles for my daughter wedding. I chilled them in the refrigerator first and then used dry ice in the bottom of the cooler to keep them cool.
