Fantastic gadget. Since lockdown I've been working from home and needed a way to swap between two Microsoft Surfaces. One mine, one my work's. This does it effortlessly. A doddle to set up and control. 4 USB ports so I have keyboard, wireless mouse dongle, USB stick and external hard drive. One silver button swaps between 1 and 2 (discretely lit by a red LED, not glaring blue like my HDMI switch) and within a few seconds I have control of the other device. Then I press my HDMI switch and the monitor pops over too. Insanely happy for £20. Saves so much time swapping cables. The box is slightly rattly and on occasion if you move it, the USB connection does reacquire itself so maybe there's a dry joint but I've blu takked it to my monitor stand so it stays put. It'll do for me.

This switch allows to me attach one keyboard and mouse to two laptops and switch between the two at the touch of a button. It's very simple and easy to use and as it is quite slim it was easy to mount to the underside of my desk using velcro strips.The only issue I have is that it is buggy and frequently drops connection to one of the machines forcing me to cycle back through them to reconnect. Not the end of the world, but still a pain. Might be an issue for gaming, not so much for work.Update 16/04/21 - Unit now refuses to connect to either laptop. Both machines reporting that usb cannot be recognised as it has malfunctioned. Dropping rating to 1 star and will be returning to Amazon.

I use it to swap 4 usb devices between 2 computers. Functions absolutely perfectly. Swapping is practically instant and there is no noticeable increase in mouse and keyboard latency. The button on top is of adequate quality and makes a satisfying click.

Pros- Good build quality especially for price- Switching keyboard between computer s is seamless and there doesn't appear to be any loss on keyboard latency- Good form factorCons- One of the USB ports is loose. When I plug the USB keyboard in it doesn't sit flush and gets disconnected with the slightest movement. As I have 3 other ports to make use of this isn't an issue for me as I only need to connect one peripheral to it. Something to be wary of if you have multiple devices hly want to connect. Could just be a one off and more to do with quality control than all the Switched having this issue- Product is fairly light so doesn't always sit flat (my OCD)ConclusionExcellent product and does what it says. Would have given it 5 stats if it wasn't for the loose usb port.

The product worked well for some time but lately has become unstable. It is constantly disconnecting and I am getting error messages that the device is malfunctioning. If I try different usb cables or usb ports, it does not change the issues I am experiencing.I have noticed that the product description stated a 3 year warranty is in place for this product, and so I have contacted the company and requested for a replacement.Hopefully this can be resolved - I will change my review when this issue is fixed.

I've given this product an average three out of five star rating. It works (mostly) but my experience has not been reliable. I've used this USB switch selector to connect and switch a keyboard and mouse between a desktop computer and a laptop computer.I've found that connected devices intermittently connect and disconnect. The lack of reliability is annoying, but can usually be remedied by unplugging and reconnecting devices (though this undoes some of the intended convenience of the switch in the first place!) or switching to another computer and back again. At first I wondered if this might be a problem with the devices drawing too much power through the hub/switch, but the intermittent disconnection persists even when boosting with an additional micro USB connected power source. I've also tried the switch with different combinations of keyboard mouse but still experience the same intermittent disconnection.All in all, the device works (most of the time) and is reasonable for the amount charged, but it didn't exceed my expectations. Those needing a really reliable switch that works with lots of different devices might want to spend more on a different product.

If you're like me and you work from home from a work laptop but want to switch over to your PC in the evenings, then this is the device you want. I am sure theres loads of them on the martket but this specific device works exactly how I wanted it to. There is no software, nothing, you plug it all up and boom, you're done.The only gripe I would say is that when you have a lot of devices plugged in, the device can lift off the ground. This happened to me due to the thick cable of my keyboard but it's mitigated by shifting it around.If you want a device that INSTANTLY swaps the USB from one device to another, this is it.

Needed a switch as I had 2 keyboards and mice, one for home desktop and one for work laptop.Switch is easy to setup, Windows installs drivers for a USB mouse and keyboard on each PC and then it transfers control of the single keyboard and mouse at the press of a button.
