Autodesk Fusion 360: A Power Guide for Beginners and Intermediate Users Kindle Edition

This is the book I was looking for on Fusion 360. I had tried some other, cheaper books and they left me wanting mainly because they were too dependent on a particular version of the software to be effective. Not so with this book. While there are points where you can tell that the book lags the software, the differences are not that glaring and you can still make good progress.I titled this "...almost to a fault" because of the sometimes sudden and distracting forays into subjects that should be sidebars or covered separately. As an example, when finishing up the example drawings the lessons present, naturally you would want to save that drawing. I found that the immediate discussion of all the various ways you could save something was distracting from the main lesson. Indeed, even within the main lessons I sometimes winced at the discussions of how many different ways there were to do something: fix from the main tool bar, or right click and pick from an on-screen menu, etc. For the sake of streamlining the learning, couldn't the multiple ways to do one thing be covered in a sidebar or may an end-of-chapter synopsis? This is my only criticism of the work, and it's easily circumvented. After a while my brain learned to recognize these in-stream distractions and read around them.Otherwise, a solid book and I recommend it.

Good for concepts, not so good for actual production. This is one of many Fusion 360 "basics" books that spends most of its time in the 3D modeling area, very little time in the CAM and production area.

This book helped me more than the lesson from Autodesk. Will recommend it for anyone starting out with F360

Good reference book.

The "Look inside" preview of this book clearly shows that the illustrations are in color, leading you to believe that you will indeed get a full color publication. You won't, it's printed in black and white so it gets 1 star for dishonest publicity.

Amazon should not be selling this item since it's outdated and has not been supplemented with the newer material

well organized book with a lot of diagrams, pictures. As a former CAD Engineer, I am saying that there area lot of things to write on printed books while learning CAD.
