product arrived from vendor a few days after projected. light is very nice, good quality. wasn't sure how the installation would go as my location had stone facing and a highly irregular surface. light really intended for smooth surface. after first unsuccessful attempt taking a couple of hours for removing existing light and grappling with how exactly to get it installed once I revealed my existing electric box situation, etc., I thought it over during the night and came up with an idea to try again. I was able to overcome the issue using a couple of small compression springs to help level the mounting plate and make it set out further from the electrical box, and chiseling away small pieces of cement to make it fit. this said, instructions are generic and not specific to the light itself so this added to the time taken. found hardware included didn't meet my needs. I still need to buy some cement patch and/or caulking to close gaps around the light plate. All said I really like the light and if you are mounting it on a smooth surface I suspect it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to install.

This is a very nice light, if overpriced at $90. It was slightly smaller than I expected it to be (I admit I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions in the listing) and the brown is lighter in color than I expected based on the images here - it's much lighter than oil rubbed bronze. The glazed glass looks nice and diffuses the light well, but also absorbs some light so bulbs won't be as bright as they would be in a clear glass fixture. Even with a 100-watt equivalent bulb, the light is not as bright as I'd like for my porch area.

Recently installed lighting fixture. Nice looking and casts a good light with ability to use a 100w bulb, although I'll be using a CFL or LED bulb. Only critical comment I can make is that the opening at the bottom of the bulb chamber is somewhat narrow diameter. Someone with large hands may have a little trouble positioning the bulb and screwing it in. I live at the beach, I'll be curious to see how well it holds up to the elements.

The fixture, itself, was decent quality, metal not plastic, with a good finish. However, it did not come with matching decorative nuts for mounting the fixture to the outlet. I had to use the ones from the old light and spray paint them.It also did not include wire nuts. Wire nuts are not supposed to be reused, so it's been pretty standard to include new ones with items like this. I've never bought a light fixture or ceiling fan that didn't include new wire nuts. Good thing I had some, of the right size.We're talking maybe 50 cents worth of materials, total. There is no excuse for not having included them, especially the mounting nuts.

Looks Great on our new porch ... going to change out the rest of our porch lights on the house to match

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Solidly built, quality materials and looks GREAT on my garage.
