Swing-N-Slide WS 8357 Elkhorn Swing Set with Slide, Climbing Wall & Swings, Wood

It came in 8 boxes. Took 2 days to put together. Very sturdy and my 5 year old loves it. The only thing about it that I did not like was that the screws were all mixed together in different bags and there was no info about what screw was in what bag.

I wanted a play set for my kids to enjoy and this one was the pick.Pros: my kids love it. The drill bits come within the screws, don't do what we did ad by them, it is a fun family project if you let your little ones help, you can absolutely do it yourself with patience, it is very sturdy, all the boards are labeled, each section comes with individual bags of screws and the instructions do tell you when to switch to that pack of wood and screws.Cons: the instructions can use some help. There are times you have to drill holes but it doesn't tell you or have a marking of where, if you drill off center you can split the wood. The slide attachment is not horrible but it would have been better with a coverage over the exposed screws, (we just placed a bit of hard plastic over it to protect clothes and any water seepage ) the screws could be labeled betterIt does take time, plan for about 2 days but may take a bit longer based on your comfort. My 9 year old helped as well as my 13 year old. We had fun putting it together but at times the instructions were a tad confusing. Once together even my two year old is in love! You will definitely need two or more people as it does come in pieces, wood not panels. The condition of the boxes at delivery is honestly the delivery company. Mine came in slightly banged up boxes with rips but the wood was perfectly fine. The swings you can change to your own liking.I would recommend this but with a strong have patience putting it together whether beginner or not

This product requires SO MUCH work it’s ridiculous, especially given how expensive it is. It was basically one step up from giving me a tree trunk and having me carve the wood myself. Basically it comes completely unassembled, even flat areas like the windows that could easily be done and fit into a box, just straight pieces of wood. You have to drill the holes yourself for all the screw pieces. The directions are very minimal which may work for something easy to assemble, but for this time and labor intensive work it was so inadequate. The screw sizes did not match the directions, so we had no idea which screw size was to be used for which part. Also, the numbers in each screw set and for the wood pieces did not match up to the directions provided (!!!), also there were so many extra screws so it was a LOT of guesswork and decoding and judgement calls in assembly. SUPER ANNOYING. When we called the help number provided, they merely said they make these pieces generically for a variety of structures and basically it’s up to you to assemble them in the way that works for what you purchased. Once you start there’s no easy way to disassemble and return this product either, it is incredibly heavy and comes in multiple boxes, which would be such a headache to pack up and send back. It ended up taking nearly 40 hours to assemble this beast.Once assembled, the kids love to play with it. Hopefully it stays in one piece! Never again. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The wood is super cheap. Definitely don’t recommend it for a long term play set. The boards warped really bad. My kids love it though!

This is just my initial look at the product. I still have to see if it is usable.
