My wife’s review on this purchase:This is dress is prefect for work, casual events, etc. I absolutely loved it and it’s really comfy. The material is soft and not too heavy but heavy enough. I reside in AZ and it’s prefect of the summer! A lot of people confused it for a skirt, so I think of it as two outfits in one. I wear a size medium in women’s shirts and blouses, so I ordered a medium, which fit perfect everywhere. Thus, I would say it’s true to size.Overall, very awesome dress that can be worn at multiple outings and events! I will be ordering another one!

I got a lot of compliments on this dress. The top half is pretty bland, however, so I definitely recommend pairing with a statement necklace and/or belt or blazer — especially if you have larger breasts. Otherwise, I think this is adorable! Perfect for church or work. Falls right below the knee for me. I’m about 5’8, 220 lbs, 40D. Ordered an XL and it fit perfectly.

I really like this dress and the way it fits except for that I got a large instead of a medium. I can slip the dress over my head and on without unzipping, but I think anything smaller would be too tight on the chest area.

I'm 5'9, 142lbs, athletic build, 32D. I wear a size small and this dress in small is a show stopper! Every time I wear it I get tons of compliments! Fabric is soft, color does not wash out, and dress does not shrink in washer (I air-dry it on the rack and never in the dryer). I wish this dress would come in more upbeat colors instead of just the dark sad ones... I bought the cognac colored one (perfect for fall!) and pair it with either black or cognac high heels. Only weirdness is: the side zipper is cognac colored (like the skirt part) and really stands out on the top part (black). THAT makes it look cheap (shouldn't the zipper be either two colored or NO ZIPPER at all?) weird. I simply hide it by wearing a black cardi or blazer on top ;) Other than that: great buy!

I have a bit of a chunkier hourglass body, and these are very comfortable and still flattering. I followed the size chart and it fits just fine. I have the black plaid and the brown dresses and may order more just so I have a weekly rotation and don't have to think twice in the morning (or think once; mornings are not my thing). It has a side zipper from the hip to the armpit for ease of putting on, but I put it on over my head just fine. The material and make are study enough that I'm not concerned about ripping or opaqueness. Beware that, just like with any black top, lint and cat/dog hair will cling to you... but that's not the dress's fault. Very girl-next-door chic! I don't usually like tops that go all the way up to my neck but I love these guys. More than 5/5.

I am 5'4 145lbs and got a large in case I dry it. It fits great!! Nice flowing , lightweight and feels soft. It feels a bit larger around waste so it doesnt naturally have that hug look around the waist. I added a stretchy belt (10$ online) to define that ALine look. Love it though.

Fits great, looks exactly like photo, thick non-see through fabric. I am between a small and medium in most dresses and went ahead and ordered a medium in this one. With the cut and style, I think either size would have fit fine. My only small complaint is that the zipper is burgundy even though it is sewn onto the black part of the dress. Not a deal breaker but something that could be improved. I will be ordering more colors once I confirm that it washes well.

This is my favorite dress. It fits perfectly, with a little hug around the waist giving a great hourglass shape. It’s not see through at all, and is nice thick fabric that is well made. I like that it has a zipper on the side, which keeps it snugly fit while also hiding the zipper (under the armpit). Super flattering dress, I’m planning to buy in other colors.

I am 5'4 and I wear a size 10. I bought a large and can put this dress on without undoing the zipper.Pros: It is quite comfortable. It sits about 3 inches below my knee. I like the black top and burgundy bottom. The buttons are a nice touch. I can dress it up or wear it casually.Cons: As other reviews mention, the top part is shorter so the skirt starts at an odd place on the waist. I can adjust it a bit as it's not tight. The bottom does show everything ie: panty lines which is the worst part about it but can be worked around.

As a woman, 5"9, with about equal upper body length to lower body length, the black upper part of the dress looked too short on me. It would've had to be longer if it were to look less awkward on my body. Cute and comfortable dress though.

I was really excited for this dress and it turned out to be a disappoint. The picture of the model is very misleading. It looks like it's going to be a fit and flare dress but it stuck to my every curve. It hung very limply which also was a drawback. The colours were as pictured(hence the 2 star rating), but the rest was a disappointment.

I was expecting a more structured garment, with higher quality fabric. It doesn't look like a beautiful plaid skirt with a nice top at all. It reminds me of those t-shirts with a tuxedo printed on it. 😆
