I looooove this bag, it's like a modern Indiana Jones bag style. It is well built, and therefore very sturdy. There are two front pockets, one is velcro and the other is a zipper, I like having that option. I purchased both the 14 inch and the 15.9 inch with the intention of returning whichever one didn't work. There is not a significant size difference between the 2. I like them so much that I'm actually giving the extra one to my sister and I'm keeping the 14 inch one. My laptop is just a hair over 14 inches but fits into the 14 inch bag. Without using the sides for water bottles I notice I have a more extra space in the computer compartment. When I use the water bottle on both sides, the computer still fits but it's a little tighter (but I can still get the computer in and out without taking the books out first). It was very important that I be able to fit a water bottle on each side. I went through a lot of bottle shapes and sizes to determine which ones I found worked best. Excellent bag, well constructed and sewed, good quality fabrics. I am in the textile industry and own a fabric conversion business in the North East US. I explored options on Amazon and purchased this bag. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and durability of the bag. It is comfortable but also packs a lot of organization in a very small amount of space compared to how many and different types of items that you can actually carry in this bag.I used to carry a backpack and absolutely refuse to carry a “Brief Case.” I do not carry my laptop All Of the time but do occasionally-perfect fit and the foam/laminate separator in the main compartment protects and fits my 15.4” HP Laptop PERFECTLY. This has replaced my name brand laptop backpack for a more professional, practical, and truly useful design. Over the shoulder or more formally carried like a brief case, this is the best option on the market and for the price. I highly recommend.

Love this bag, this was 2nd time but after the first one gave out. It has plenty of pockets, quality construction. Its not 100% waterproof but a good amount of water will bounce off it, so good for a drizzle/moderate rain.

This is a good-looking messenger I bought for my work laptop, which has a 15.4" screen. The material is a durable soft canvas, with adequate stitching where the strap joins the main body of the bag. I pull it in and out of the passenger side of my vehicle from the drivers side, which puts strain on the straps and they hold sturdily. Storage is ample, though I prefer zippers on storage pouches inside a bag. Occasionally something in the one of the inside pockets will get loose in the bottom of the bag. There's no loops to secure pens, and the inside fabric is too flimsy to clip them. The two outer pouches are different sizes, which I like. I use the larger, zipped one for the laptop power supply. The smaller one fits phone charger, usb ear buds and charger and spare (non-powered) ear bugs well. This pouch seals with velcro which has not created an issue. I tend to wear a messenger low on my hip, requiring me to clip the flap to avoid noisiness when I walk with it. Not sure that would be necessary if I wore it higher.Despite a few design elements that are not my personal preference, this bag looks so good and is so nicely made that I really like it. I work in a Silicon Valley job where casual is common. The colors work with my style (straight to skinny fit jeans, dark, light blue, khaki, and gray, casual button downs, sweaters, and the occasional t shirt). Recommended!

I've had this bag for years now and use it to carry Magic decks to my local game store. It can fit a lot in there and it has practically no signs of wear after a ton of use. Its easy to clean pet hair off of which is a huge plus for me since I have dogs and cats.

Great bag! Very sturdy. I carry lots of stuff at all times (including about ten reusable grocery bags), and this stores them nicely. Lots of compartments, and they're all usable. I'm a very big guy, and the shoulder strap has a lengthy extension. I can fit it crosswise over my neck and one shoulder, and it will still hang far enough down that everything is immediately available to my hand. That's not easy, because I'm big around, and have a long body and arms.I suppose my only "complaints" would be that I wish the lining was a little more... substantial. It does slip around a bit and I'm not sure how well it will age. Also, I don't particularly care for the one zippered compartment on the front flap being diagonal. It looks stylish, but decreases the functionality by creating an odd-shaped pocket.Definitely a good purchase, and I'd buy it again.
