Knife is fine. But it does not have the bungee strap shown on the picture.

Forearm / Stretch Straps missing from product that was specified was to be included

First off it's a very nicely balanced knife and both sides are very sharp. I would feel comfortable in the water with it. However, it just has two tabs on the side that click when you insert it into the sheath and I'd be worried that it could just pop out if I brushed against it. The straps that came with it are only long enough for my calf or arm. But the space for the line cutter is simply just a space, it's not sharpened at all. I'm returning it.

This is a good quality spearo knife. Riffe changed the design from the previous generation which I thought was a better designed knife and sheath.

The knife itself is great. The straps are a little short for for thicker thighs and it does not lock in very secure into the sheath. My knife is sitting somewhere on the bottom of the ocean.

The paint in coming out, only 3 trips to the ocean and as shown on the pics there are “bubbles” that show the paint in low quality, also shows not really resistant to corrosion. . Not nice, it is an expensive knife.

I agree with other reviews that the paint comes off and this could be better. Nevertheless this is my preferred spearfishing knife. The serrated blade is so sharp that when I took a 25kg spanish makerele apart, it cut through the center bone like butter where I normally need a heavy butchers cleaver. I recommend to buy it You won’t be disappointed. As to the protection of the knife I rinse it after ever dive with fresh water, wipe it dry and grease with vaseline.
