Retro cool
I was looking for a very specific fabric - I wanted something retro, and with both red and orange to use in my 60's cool kitchen. This fabric hit all those notes. It is heavier than a typical calico fabric, but not as heavy as broadcloth. It was easy to cut and sew and looks great. I made two valances and an insert for a glass cabinet door. Just what the kitchen needed to pop the red accents, and enough orange to make me smile.

Great curtain fabric
My daughter has a transom window in her room that was the bane of our existence because it was custom made and I couldn’t find a normal curtain for it so I had to make one myself. We fell in love with this pattern for her room, muted, beautiful and not garish or childish or too girly. It’s thick and hangs really well. I ordered 3 yards and it came in one piece of fabric. I was overall really pleased with how it came out especially as it was my first attempt at curtains.

Adorable pattern
Material very cute high quality but a lot heavier than the usual material I use for pillowcases but it still came out adorable just not as soft as cotton.

I like Ambesonne fabric. But this one frays like crazy
I have purchased and used other Ambesonne fabrics with no issues. This airplane print had a different feel. And it frayed and frayed. I zigzag stitched all cut edges. The I double sewed seams. And I used Dritz frayed edge repair. I hope the tote I made holds up. It was very shocking since I never had this happen to such an extreme extent. So be aware. You will have to double and triple sew all seams. Lots of extra work. But I love the print.

Gorgeous but a bit thin
I ordered the Stones Covered with Moss Rock. The pattern is just as shown: realistic, bright and gorgeous but the fabric is a bit thinner than what you would normally expect to be called upholstery. It should be fine for an indoor chair seat but I want to make a beanbag for a very active boy and I wonder if it is sturdy enough. It looks like it could be used for cargo pants or backpack.

Phots do not show how beautiful this fabric is.
The artist of this fabric design did a beautiful job. I am using this to make a table runner to be used at a Bridal Tea. The brides choice for flowers is peonies and this fabric did not disappoint. The quality of the fabric is just outstanding.

So chic!
I bought a yard, and I covered the door of an old radio cabinet. It's beautiful, but it was a little difficult to work with because of the fraying. Other than that, it turned out great. I even had enough to make 2 throw pillow covers.
