I've tried a few containers for bacon, but this one really is amazing. The size is perfect and seals well. Just what I have been searching for. After I bought the first one, I bought a small one for butter but since it would only hold 3 sticks and I wanted to at least fit a 4 stick box in it, I opted for another large one and keep 2 boxes of butter in. Then upon reading another buyer's review, I bought another to hold freshly shredded cheese and it does so amazingly! Freshly, not dried or slumped. They all fit right in my meat drawer and would even stack if I needed to. Love them!

It's unbelievable how much longer my deli meats stay fresh in this container. I do wrap them separately in plastic but I've always done that. I can go back to buying heavier weights without worrying about it going bad before I can use it. It is definitely airtight. The only negative is the lift up tab. Because it seals so tightly, DO NOT pull up on the tab to open or you will break it off. I just lift the tab and then pull open on the edge. It's inconvenient but I'm willing to tolerate to keep my food fresh. Hopefully they will address this problem in the future. I still gave it five stars.

We always buy 2 different kinds of lunchmeat & lately it seems the stores love to put the price sticker (which is long) over the zipper part of the bag which makes it difficult to close once you cut it open. I got tired of wasting my own zip bags so I took a chance & bought this. It's perfect! It holds about a half of pound of lunchmeat on each side (depending on how thick the lunchmeat is cut). The seal is strong & very secure which is great. We go through lunchmeat pretty quickly in our house so I can't say for certain how long the lunchmeat will stay fresh, but it does last at least 3-4 days for sure!

I don use this for deli meats but for my dog's farm fresh food. The food I ordered came with a container but it broke and this was the best replacement. I love it, and it is better then what I used before. It has a tight seal and the smell does not leave the container to make the fridge smell like its content. 10 out of 10 recommend
