Awesome bracers/bad dyes
Awesome product. I was i soured by this product to purchase my own leather and tools and remake this myself from a softer more comfortable leather. I did wear them to an event and the reports are true, with some sweat they will stain your arms. It’s recommended you wash these thoroughly maybe even soak them to remove excess dye. Other than that, these are freaking awesome.

Great but they STAIN!
Perfect thickness and sizing of material! The gloves feel a bit weird at first but you have to break them in. The leather does stain so dont wear white underneath. They can be a bit confusing to put on at first and are difficult to put on by yourself. The color is great and they look amazing! Great costume addition!

Fit well, great for RenFest!
I was a touch hesitant at first to purchase this product, considering that the few reviews that are out there cited that the bracers were more on the small side, but considering the price I decided to give it a try anyways. I can't say exactly how this would fit on the average man's arms/wrists, as I am a 5 foot 6 inch woman; HOWEVER with that in mind I would definitely say that this product was worth the buy.I bought the #1 Brown bracer with the two straps and was pleasantly surprised when they came in. They were a little stiff at first, but after wearing them to a six hour outing to a local RenFest plus an all day costume party at my workplace for Halloween they have developed a noticeable give so that it makes it a lot easier to bend the wrists than they were at first. The colors in the pictures is pretty accurate and I would say very close to what it looks like when you actually receive it.As for the size itself, I wore this with a LARP shirt that had more baggy sleeves than the ones pictured in the photos, so I had a little bit of "packing" so to speak between my skin and the bracers. Even so, I was able to buckle them up nice and firmly with little to no moving around through the day, the buckle at the wrist I was able to fasten at the third to last hole in the strap, and the buckle on the forearm closest to the elbow I was able to buckle to the second to last hole in the strap.Overall I would say that I'm very pleased with this product, but I would definitely recommend that others measure their arms and compare it to the size chart in the last photos for the #1 Brown. Speaking from the perspective of a woman with a medium/heavy figure these bracers were perfect and suited my needs wonderfully.

Gauge of leather is a lot less than what is portrayed
When you look at the photos that is saddle grade leather approximately 3/8 1/4 of an inch thick etc but when you get the product it's only about an eighth of an inch thick and the stitching is not the leather stitching but material like clothing stretching all the roller buckles seem to be all right but because they're so thin they won't do what I expected thim to do, I was hoping I could use them as risk supports considering that I have issues with my hands etc, if they were subtle grade leather as portrayed you could take a nice strike and they would be stiff enough to be a good bracing for your wrist while using heavy battle ax etc but when I got them they're more costume than they are actual leather gauntlets and for the 35 bucks I could have a pair made better a lot better than this and spend no more than $20 more for them from a saddle shop in town but I was hoping that for the price they would be as they portrayed them now if they were giving out what they were showing in the photos then there would be no issue whatsoever because design is good it was great it's a little hard to buckle up because I have issues with arthritis in my wrist and fingers but there again if you're not planning to put them toreal use for any kind of support or protection gaming etc then I guess they'd be fine you know but I'm not looking to have decorations I'm looking for tools that are not only stylish but useful but other than that I'm going to be returning them simply because for 35 bucks they're just not going to withstand what I need them to,

Amtgard Tested
I bought these for amtgard competitive medieval combat. So far they have held up to 60 hours of hard combat spread out over 2 months with no issues. I get a lot of compliments on them and will be buying a second / third pair just in case something ever happens to them. They are 100% worth it and can really take a hit while looking good. Fit very well and comfortable.

Really good for entry level renn fair gear!
After a long hot day at the Rennisance Fair, they did leave some leather colored stain on my forearms. Other than that, very high quality (costume quality, not cosplay or stage quality)

Works extremely well for the cost
I got these to help protect my freshly tattooed arm while at work (parks trail building). These things have gone through chainsaw days, brush cutting days, herbicide spraying days, log and stone hauling, and more and still look great! They kept my arms safe from physical damage, and covered by the sun.The ONLY downside is: there's no breathable material on the inside if you're wearing short sleeves like I do. So they get very sweaty. But that's more on me than the product. 10/10!
