Buy two of these. This product is prone to malfunctions. I already replaced the bottom part in 2024, and now the lid has an issue. The replacement process is lengthy, so having a second unit would allow you to use it while waiting for repairs.The problems stem from manufacturing defects: the screw thread on the bottom part wears out, and the handles don't hold. Similarly, one side of the bracket welded to the lid (for the handle) came off. It's been over two weeks, and the replacement they sent was the wrong model, so I'm facing another long wait. Always buy two of these products.Another issue is contacting the service center. Calls connect but never reach customer care officials, disconnecting after five minutes of repeatedly hearing the voice-over message. The franchise is also helpless as they don't get much support from the company in this regard.You'll get a divorce notice before the product get repaired. So buy 2 nos, its safe 😄😄😄

Cheapest Stainless steel cooker of 5L. I bought it on 23rd August 2022. It worked fine for the past 10 Months. However, now the bottom induction base has started peeling off. Hence cooking is not even and food gets charred at the bottom. It also makes popping noises from the bottom induction base when it expands from the heat. Put 300-500 rupees more and buy a better one than this one.

Good pressure cooker.Made in Japan. Others are giving same product at 2000+, while Pigeon has priced it to 1350/- Quality product at affordable price.The bottom is alluminium sandwiched between plates of steel. Good for heat conduction.Steel cookware are safer than toxic aluminium ones. Though cookers shouldn't be used to cook food, as they don't cook but kill all the nutrients in food, we doctors use large cookers to kill germs on our instruments daily in clinkcs. It does same with food too.#DrPathakOverall a good purchase.

If you have not used steel cooker, i would suggest go for it, it's really good to use, clean and more to add it's value for money, using it fo more than a year.
