I have been wanting to learn guitar for years. I know the basic chords (A,D,E,G, C etc) and a few minors) but it just takes too much time and practice to learn enough of the basic chords to really get to play and sing or accompany like I want to, plus. And one of my biggest hang-ups is that it hurts my fingers to try bar chords or my fingers just hurt because I never play enough to build callouses! This device is awesome for allowing you to play all the major and minor chords almost immediately. It took me less than an hour to be able to just chord any song that I picked up. Like I said, I already know some of the basics with the quitar so don't plan on it being quite that fast, but even for a beginner it is quite fast. I feel like this device is really a breakthrough with guitar playing, it is super exciting. I have never seen a device that compares to this. All my kids want to learn now and it is fun that they can actually play the simple songs quite quickly.

Rock It Barre is a fantastic product and innovative design. My compliments to the creator/ inventor. My first order had to be sent back to Amazon due to missing some items, as what happens at times at Amazon in fulfillment around the holiday season. The creator of the product was quick to engage, replacement product was sent rocket fast, and she was extremely helpful. A rarity in today's online sales that the consumer gets the personal attention. Its a great device and once I followed the methodology she had put forth, the product really does get you playing chords extremely fast.

The Rock-It-barr is great for those who do not suffer with hand arthritis, BUT it did not work well for me. I would have returned the item, but I wanted to give it a chance and practiced with it beyond the return window. I also discovered that it plays best with steel stringed instruments, at least in my experience.

I have wanted to learn to play the guitar for years, as so many of my greatest childhood memories contain a guitar and a campfire!I have always dreamed of giving the same to my kids. Since purchasing for Christmas, my daughter and I have both used the Rock-iT Barre to learn guitar and have since added it to the music of our lives! We are so thankful! You are an incredible inventor! Thank you!

Sorry, but this was unusable for me. Maybe the curvature of the barre isn’t matched well to the curvature of my guitar neck. It was almost impossible to play any chords because 1 or 2 strings would end up being muted instead of fretted, unless I was choking the life out of the guitar. A device intended to be a crutch shouldn’t be nearly this difficult to use.

hurt my hand more than it was supposed to help and I tried many times. Point is, if you hold your guitar at a 45 degree angle it will give your hand the accesd to curve as it should to reach those strings. Since I tried modifying the contraption I could not send it back. Read your beginner guitar books to understand position of your body to learn the proper way to play.

This is a wonderful product. Mason does a fantastic job of both showing & explaining how the Rock-It Barre works.My boys started watching/learning this morning and have been playing all day. They both have asked for Rock-It Barres & guitars for their birthdays.This makes learning the guitar fun & entertaining. Great job guys!
