LEGO The Movie Series 2 Wizard of Oz Minifigure Series - Complete Set of 20 (71023)

The Lego figures are great, and they look and feel legitimate, but this is an odd set to say the least, and I can't help but wonder what's happening at Lego: 1) There were a LOT of extra parts, way more than usual for a minfig set (all that stuff in the 1st pic); 2) the contents of some of the pkgs were inside cellophane bags (not the usual Lego kind that were easy to open); 3) for some pkgs, the pamphlets were closed with tape that was a real PITA to get off. We ended up just throwing those away. BL: It's a pretty good set, but it looks like Lego may be outsourcing some of its manufacturing and assembly to places where the QC is not up to the usual standard (or they're making it up as they go). This does not bode well, IMO.

I purchased This “full set” because we are big LEGO fans in m out home. We were especially exited about the “Wizard Of Oz” quartet, the main characters. Upon opening, I was Surprised that Dorothy was missing, and we had duplicates of the older Emmet character. I emailed the seller and recurved no correspondence as to how I should Proceed to receive the missing mini figure. Upsetting for the representation that this would be a full set.UPDATE: within a week, we received the missing mini figure from the set

These are great! They each came individual, sealed packages - just like if you were to buy them directly at a store. We received one of each 20 characters with no duplicates. Exactly as described. It sure beats paying all kinds of money not knowing if you'll keep getting the same characters. This way, I knew he would get each one and I wouldn't be wasting money on what he already if I purchased them separately.

When I ordered the full series, I had NO IDEA they would be SEALED IN BAG! I thought 'No way are they going to get all of these right. There will definitely be one or two dupes.' I was wrong. They totally nailed it!!! I'm digging these minifigures, especially the Wizard of Oz and the pop star girls. My goodness. This seller is the jam!

Arrived in a small square box. All 20 figures were present and accounted for. The box even arrived a few days early. Definitely worth it.

My grandson was thrilled with his birthday gift. He was amazed that his Nanny could blindly get all 20 figures with no duplicates. I'm a hero!!
