Great flavor. True Kona medium roast coffee. I live on Oahu. So I have had less pure 10% Kona Coffee sold on Island.

This coffee certainly was not what I expected. The Kona coffee I’ve had previously was a sweet, smooth light roast. This coffee is roasted darker than I expected and it took a few cups to get my sugar/cream adjusted correctly but when I got it right it was very tasty. But FORTY BUCKS? Nope, good coffee but I won’t get it again.

I have ordered several different Kona coffees over the years. This is definitely one of my favorites.

I drink my coffee black on an empty stomach in the morning and have decided a low acid type/style coffee is desired.Based on reviews for this I was hoping for a smooth and tasty cup of coffee. This was not what I expected. Doesn't seem low acid, did not find the flavor enjoyable, and first sip, immediate impression, there is a distinct burnt taste. Now I have a whole remaining bag of beans to get through......ugh.I will revert back to the Kona Coffee my neighbor shared with me, L'Amour, also can be purchased on Amazon. It WAS low acid and had a pleasing flavor.

I thoroughly enjoyed this coffee. I am not getting any payment and was not asked to write a review. I'm doing this for coffee enthusiasts. I enjoyed this. I have a caprese conical burr grinder and only buy whole beens. I have a very nice coffee maker and am def a coffee snob. This exceeded my expectations and was everything I wanted In a cup of coffee. Very smooth and kinda sweet. I also typically only drinky coffee black. For the bad reviews not sure... Maybe the beans are inconsistent but I won't know till I order another bag. Grind size and water will make a big difference in brewing a cup of coffee. Hope this helps.
