It is solid wood and we have assembled furniture before, but this was beyond hard for the average consumer. The directions said 1 hour to assemble…Only if you work in a furniture factory. It took us 4 hours. Every single piece of wood had to be separately assembled, like a puzzle, with inferior directions, none of which were in English. And of course the many pieces of wood were not numbered which added another level of difficulty.Once finished the nightstand is nice, but I would not buy it again. Frustration levels were thru the roof. Lesson learned. Never again.3 stars because of the difficult assembly.

wood was very thin, very cheaply made. door was broken on delivery. virtually no directions for assembly. overall bad choice

Cartoon instructions with no text proved difficult at first. Once the learning curve was achieved it was smooth sailing. Bought three and love them.

This night table had NO numbers or letters on any of the parts.

Assembly pictures are confusing/incorrect. Latch hardware was incorrect/unusable. Very little assembly prep - no predrilled starter holes for wood screws, etc. If you purchase this stand be prepared for lengthy assembly.

5 huge problems. Cabinet unusable. Seller gave me a partial offer. I see item not for sale must have been a production issue hopefully working on quality control. 1- we were going to look past damages to top from factory. No damage to container. 2- comes with pegs and glue so got it together with glue and then ALL went bad, there are no predrilled holes so the hasp split the whole edge off the door, 3- the side of the cabinet split to same issue, 4- then for the grand finally the drawer is way too tight due to faulty unit, so it wont close. Not rubbing anywhere just slides have a merciless grip on it. 5- it is not returnable by the time you find out its unusable as drawer is last step.

I do like the final result but it took me over four hours to put together and not having the wood pieces numbered was a pain. Directions had no words and some steps were Perplexing :(

Very nice piece, instructions are not the best, just pictures but happy with the end result.

Vorweg: Natürlich ist das ein sehr günstiger Schrank. Selbst wer alle nötigen Maschinen zu Hause hätte, würde alleine für das Holz und die Beschlagteile entsprechend gleich viel oder mehr bezahlen.Positiv:Verständliche BauanleitungAlle Schrauben und Beschlagteile sortiert und entsprechend bezeichnet verpackt.Fertig montiert, ist der Schrank ausreichend stabil.Negativ:Die Vorbohrungen für die Dübel und Schrauben sind nicht präzise, so dass z.B. der vordere Rahmen bereits ungleichmäßig ist.Eine etwas zu steil gesetzte Vorbohrung sorgte dann auch dafür, dass eine Schraube prompt nach vorne durch den Rahmen stieß.Ein Beschlagteil, einer der vier Ziernägel, war defekt. Da ich die sowieso nicht anbringen wollte, war mir das egal.Fertig montiert saß bei mir die Schublade zunächst schief drin, was ich zwar durch Versetzen des Vorderteils etwas ausgleichen konnte, aber immer noch zu sehen ist.Fazit:Wer optisch perfekte Möbel sucht, wird mit dieser Möbelserie nicht glücklich.Etwas technisches Verständnis sollte zum Zusammenbau bereits mitgebracht werden.Wen schiefe Schubladen, sowie große Spalten um Türen und Schubladen nicht stören, erhält hier preisgünstige Massivholzmöbel mit individuellen, rustikalem Charme.Der Hersteller könnte, durch präzisere Zuschnitte und Schablonen, die Qualität deutlich erhöhen, ohne deshalb mehr investieren zu müssen.
