Let's face it, bagpipe reeds are near on impossible to get at a reasonable price (except on Edinburgh's Royal Mile). My chanter reed suffered damage in travel and I was in desperate need - fast! I took a chance and opted for this, and OMG! It cost less than expected, arrived the day after order, and sounds better than any reed I've had before! Regarding the negative posts out there, ignore the dolts. Just let the reed soak in some good Single Malt for a wee bit, squeeze and manipulate gently into proper shape, and play. I am now a permanent customer of Barefoot Bagpiper. Enjoy!

When I start the pipes, the new reeds kick in perfectly. Good product and good del.

They come well packaged. And from past experience I find they break in fairly easily. A good buy

The media could not be loaded. Having to blow extremely hard. And then I'm not having a chance to really get it InTune because it's really gotten to the point where it's really hard to get it adjusted properly sound so I can be ready to play music, I can get the drone reeds to work. but then I need to chanter reeds to be the same level of the tone note. they get out of balance, not compliant. but there are pipes that are from Scotland that are better than this one, the one I have was a gift to me from my cousin who is in care of patients over the virus, in Scotland,

Theses reeds come very well wrapped, appears to be a nice reed
