This has allowed me to have so much more life when using my canon.

I always order powerextra because the product has never let me down and although one out of a pack for batteries didn't hold a charge, the products are always quality. Hopefully they'll send me a replacement battery for the defective one but if not I'll still buy from them again.

These work just as well as the Canon brand batteries

I have a Canon Rebel T5I which I use to shoot a LOT of video with. So I have bought several batteries and chargers over the past couple of years. I have a few of these batteries left, they last a bout a year with heavy use charging and recharging. My biggest gripe about the battery is that it is only 8.3Wh, be careful if you plan to use this battery when videoing. With a single charger and a battery that doesn't last very long you can get caught with no battery when needed. For primary photo work the battery I imagine works fine. But for video with my Rebel T5I it sucks. There are other batteries that last longer like the 13.3Wh that PowerExtra makes and I have several of them and they work fine. If this is a concern (how long they last) get the 13.3Wh. You can zoom in on the backs of the battery photos and see the numbers. Once the battery starts to wear out they go fast and it's better to order new ones and use the old ones as back up.

I haven't had these batteries long enough to really do a solid review but I know I will likely forget by then so I decided I will at least say that for now, they are holding the charge as well as charging quickly! Great deal! I have plenty of batteries for a long trip.

I’ve been using these batteries for several years And they have been absolutely fantastic. I don’t even remember when I bought these it has to of been five years ago or more and they still work absolutely perfectly. I can use them interchangeably with my Canon charger or the charger that came with the batteries. They do have a long battery life and I can go through a whole shoe or using them for a whole day intermittently without them completely dying on me. I have taken them on airplanes and driven with them in the car on hot days So they aren’t just going to explode on you randomly.

DBK 4 pack replacement battery for Canon LP-E8 and charger.I am an amateur filmaker/photographer with basic knowledge.These work great! I was skeptical at first as the Canon battery can go for $90 each!!! Do not buy the Canon batteries!! These DBK replacements have the same life or more!! The Charger works fine and will charge the stock Canon battery too. It does seem like it takes slightly longer to charge than with the canon charger but its hardly noticeable. I now have five batteries with about two hours each of video shooting time, so im basicly good all day with these bad boys! I have used these and recharged about five times, so i dont know about longevity, but im sure they will be good. Also, I have not tried these for shooting excessive stills or used with a flash, but will update if anything changes. Im sure they will perform the same. I really love these batteries. I will probably buy another set in the future for extended shoots or when recharging isn't an option. The packaging was basic. They arrived on time with no problems. Don't hesitate!! Buy these!!!
