I received this and the 1000ml was fantastic. The 500ml did have a crack in it but I was partially refunded and dont have to return so I am using to reorder. I it's almost worth it not to have to deal with return. The price did increase so I'm paying about the same price I paid originally and I'd much rather have the 500ml but this way I can use the one now and I could always use another 1000ml beaker anyway but mostly I have to drive 20min out of my way to return items so there's that lol.

Perfect product

Who would have thought I would enjoy such a purchase? I bought these for making lotion so I can fit my oil phase and water phase in the same double boiler. I also like them for measuring really small amounts bc they weigh almost nothing so my very precise scale isn't overloaded with just the vessel itself which has happened before. They're great for measuring essential oils which will eat through plastic cups. I've found other uses too surprisingly when you need to measure really small amounts. I keep them stored with the perfectly sized cardboard protectors between each one that came with them when they shipped.I haven't washed them in the dishwasher so Idk if the measurement lines wear off after time.

A thinner glass than expected, but that’s advantageous for hot plate stir bar heating

Love these guys, super thin but laboratory grade and the marking on them have held up over a good 50 washes so far.

The bottom of the beaker is not flat. The glass has a big bulge that protrudes out the bottom, so the beaker rocks when placed on a flat surface. This is especially bad if you are going to be heating liquids in it, as the bottom of the beaker will not make uniform contact with the hotplate surface. The glass is pretty thick and appears to be of decent quality, but the one I got is not usable since it doesn’t even sit flat!

Accurate enough for non critical use. The large diameter may be a difficult grip for small hands.

I purchased 3 beakers and one cracked after 2 uses.I’m am now afraid to use the other two in case the same happens
