There are many options for buying this exact globe, but this one doesn't have any obnoxious manufacturer logos slapped on. Light isn't super bright but I didn't expect it to be. The globe can easily be set without using any assistance (with a bit of practice) but the little foam spacer helps. It is pretty easy to have it stick to the top if you bump it. And if the stand loses power the globe falls, but it lands on the bottom of the stand and doesn't roll away so it isn't a huge problem. Fun desk knickknack.EDIT: Okay, you really do need to have this thing on a steady desk ir it is going to stick to the top. I have a freestanding desk and even just typing on the keyboard for a few minute gets it to wobble its way to the top of the stand. It's still nice, it just sits on the nearby shelf instead of directly on the desk.

I bought this for my son for his birthday. Such a cool and unique gift! It does take a moment to find the right position to get the globe to float but once you get the feel its easy to do. Needs to be plugged in in order to float also. All around visually pretty. I would completely recommend this item.

At first I tried to get it to float without plugging it in and was frustrated as I couldn't get it to float but then I plugged it in and I got it to float first try, that's something to note. Also it was smaller than expected and didn't spin automatically but all in all, pretty good.

This is a very nice little gadget and gives a little ambiance to the area it's in. I would definitely give as a gift to someone.

The media could not be loaded. This was a surprise for our 13 year old just because. He loves it! The only thing is that it doesn't have an on off switch but no big deal. Also it will spin a while but it does need to be prompted. I blow on it to get it going. Definitely worth the money! ♥️

I really love this glove and my husband, who received it for a birthday gift, loves it, too. Or more accurately i should say we would love it if it worked. But unfortunately, it’s a shame that it doesn’t stay working. We can get it to float but we walk away and come back 10-20 minutes later and the globe has been sucked to the top magnet, no longer floating! Soooo frustrating!!! I think this is just a defective one because I’ve seen others work just fine but for some reason ours was a dud.UPDATE: SO IT WORKS IF YOU HAVE IT AWAY FROM ELECTRICAL ITEMS. WE HAD IT NEAR THE TV SO THAT IS WHY IT WOUDNT WORK. WE MOVED IT AND IT WORKS MUCH BETTER BUT I WISH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE KNOWN THAT IT ONLY WORKS WHEN IT IS OFF BY ITSELF SOMEWHERE. GIVING AN ADDITIONAL STAR
