Worked great for my situation
But switch was too close to the plug. Always have to reach down to hit it. Works well if plugging into a switch controlled outlet or converted socket light.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
For the few weeks that I've had this item, it's been absolutely wonderful. Being single (& always seeking passive income opportunities), I decided to rent out my home (3/2 + boat dock on the intracoastal in Boca Raton, Fl) since I don't need the space & it'd easily fetch substantially more ($2200 a month) than my mortgage ($680), opting to instead to rent the cheapest livable 1/ 1 in the area for myself so that I'd basically have my tenants covering my 1/1's monthly rent & paying off the mortgage on my home (while still even leaving me an extra $600- $700/monthly to play around with. Everything went perfectly EXCEPT the 1/1 which I'm renting is one of four units in a corner lot building which is/was (apparently) the end result of a former owner's illegal duplex conversion. Having said that, I can further tell you that there's more than just a few things wonky about the place (address situation, which two units control the A/C, how the cable/internet billling works, etc. Look for Arlington's purposes today we're talking about thr electricity. Needless to say was four units (in a building meant originally for just two) certain areas of the house have electrical circuits that are clearly overloaded (like my unit's bathroom & it's outlets, heat lamp, fan & two lights along with my porch light, & one half of my bedroom are all on the same circuit as which my next door neighbor's washer/dryer, water heater, porch lights & garage door are on. So, after realizing this, as well as the fact that circuit breaker panel is also in my neighbor's unit (& that if the breaker blows) I could be facing a half home power outage I decided to buy one set of two of these both with 20+ft cords so that I can at anytime plug either one (or both) of in any working outlet within my unit and then run a light around to wherever I may need it to be at that very moment. These have worked brilliantly both for that/my initial purpose & have even moved on to aiding me in other ways, as I have two of those 'As Seen on TV" Beyond Bright Triple LED panel Lights & I now have those screwed into these cords full time so not only can either one of them light up the entire house, but ever more so now anytimr there's a noise or disturbance outside at night that I want to check on, I can EASILY walk either on or both out the door with their long durable black cords & then hold up the light in any direction & (either) make the night look like daytime or blind some would be ne'er do well who is encroaching on my property. Quite frankly I love these so much, I am planning to find out if I can get a couple more, but this time with double light sockets on each cord so that I can rig them up somewhere on the house with either a motion detector or some other sort of surveillance device & that way I can literally either choose to turn them on full force from the inside with just a flip of the switch on the cord or The motion detector can activate it for me. Regardless, with double outlets per cord & 20-25+ feet of running room to work with, I can pretty much hit anywhere or any angle with roughly 60,000 lumens in a split second. Yeah, I know it's overkill, but still it's pretty hysterical (especially just after I've done that & quickly turned them back off just as my neighbor from directly across the street walks out of his house looking around with a face of complete confusion just wondering, 'What was that..a solar eclipse or an alien spaceship? And how the heck did the entire street go from dark as the night sky to high noon on a sunny day in South Florida & now back to night in all but 2-3 seconds). Bottom line, whatever your purpose, these are great (& well worth the money!)

Fits the bill without being flimsy or cheap feeling.
I was using this to hang 4 lights with black cages and wrapped then I'm fabric to make 4 hanging lanterns for a game room! Works great. The hangers provided are a but long but work great. The wire thickness is about a pencil thick and a little wider, easy to handle and maneuver but thick enough that they don't feel cheap. They don't stretch but the 14' length has lots of room for hanging them somewhere and running the cable over the ceiling to an outlet on the wall or electrical strip. Overall good value for money paid.

Works well
Work well but I wish the male end didn’t have a hot and a neutral. The larger neutral caused the plug to not fit into some special plug I have. A rare complaint probably but everything else is great!

Unexpectedly awesome
I'm a freelance lighting technician in the film industry and I bought these to suspend bulbs in paper lanterns. I initially chose them because they came in a 2-pack, they were inexpensive, and they were black. Upon receiving and using them however, there are lots of things I like about these lamp cords. I like the long length of the cords themselves: I have enough cord that I don't have to plug into an extension cord until about 10' from the fixture. I like the switches being a simple rocker switch, not the weird twisty switches you find sometimes on desk lamps for example. Speaking of, perhaps my favorite thing about that is that the switch isn't right on the socket itself. I'm able to turn the lights on and off without reaching my hand into a paper lantern. When I need more of these, I will be buying these again. Great value.

Solid lamp chords, and the additional clips were very welcome
These are solid lamp chords. I'm using them in an application where I need to hang them from a support and the inclusion of the little plastic clips was a very pleasant surprise. I didn't see them in the listing, and as simple as they are, the clips made a big difference in terms of getting things correctly positioned. The accord itself and the switch are a very good quality. I will probably pick up another set for another application.

It is exactly as advertised
Went to the big box store to get these, but they do not carry it. Found out I would have to buy the parts and wire it up. That seemed ridiculous, so bought these here on Amazon.I have two of the "balloon" type lamps from Vietnam and needed a light cord. I bought two stands separately to hold the "lamp shade" . Bought these to essentially wire up the stand/shade. It is perfect.I used LED bulbs that can be adjusted with WiFi for brightness and color. They work great so I don't use the wired switch.Very simple but hard to find item that does the job.

Added hanging lights in our garage!
These are great. Long enough to plug in yet hang from the rafters in our old garage. Switch is at a good length. Nice to have extra light.
