Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Designed for Apple Watch Band with Case for 38mm Series 3/2/1/Original (2015) - Black

One of the reasons I stayed away from the Apple Watch for so long was my perception of the watch as fragile. I imagined investing hundreds of dollars in a watch that would, in a matter of hours, be shattered from my normal daily activities. I work in rehabilitation, I do carpentry, I work out with free weights, I work on cars and tractors, I help manage a large property, operate chainsaws, use motorcycles and ATVs, I do martial arts, shooting sports, swim, cycle, and more.I hate taking off my watch. I wear it all day and I bang it on doorways, wheelchairs, weapons, car parts, barbells, countertops ... you name it. I AM the bull in the china shop. My go to watch for years has been the G-Shock line, with the last one being the Rangeman. Man I loved that watch.Then I got a deal on an Apple Watch. I wanted to track some fitness stuff and have some hands free time with calls and texting. Siri on my wrist seduced me. But I KNEW I needed protection or I would wind up with that pristine watch face mangled and cracked.I didn't wear it with the original band for a second. I have had a Spigen Phone case for years and love it. I have some cool stories with that one. So when I saw this I ordered it and it arrived before my watch. At first I was concerned because it was so light weight. (I am used to equating weight with quality).When the watch arrived, I snapped it in, took a deep breath, and got on with life. (I also protected the face of the watch with a stick on protective layer - equally valuable for me. Order a size or two smaller so the edges of the case don't mess with the edges of the protector.).After about the first ten bangs, I stopped checking the watch for damage. This band does a marvelous job. The watch is very well protected and it is super easy to manage. If I need to wash out wood chips or dirt at the end of the day, it just pops out and back in with ease. All features and functions of the watch are 100% accessible.The band itself seems to show no signs of wear. It is literally as good as the day I got it. (About 2 years ago now I think?) I am 6 foot, 210, and I vary between slot 4 and 5 on the band. There are 11. So the band can fit people much larger than me! It is super comfortable, and I pretty much wear it all day, off overnight for charging. The band does not interfere with the charger.I recently got one for my daughter (I have the 44mm one, and she has the 38mm). The bands are identical other than size, so all these things apply to both bands. I will have to count up her band slots.So yes - I highly recommend this band. If you are a super active person, this is a no brainer. Pretty much the ultimate protection in my opinion. You may need to get a stick on protector of some sort, and you may have to play with the size of that. However, that's just me. My daughter uses hers without the stick on protector, and she's fine with it. She is also active, but perhaps not as rough as I am.To sum up - get it if you are afraid that your lifestyle will damage your Apple watch. This is as good as it gets.

Would like to see more color options. Other than that great product!

Very durable. Can take a lot of abuse

I like the band besides one thing, the wristband is to small. I am 6’1” and approximately 235lbs. I would have thought the wristband would have been bigger, if I continue to use this band I have to use the very last notch. The size is my only complaint other than that nice wristband.

Was able to hook it using the last whole. Might be not good for people with large wrist.

This is a nice, durable band. Doesn’t feel cheap and has lasted very well. I can wear it outside for yard work, chores, etc. I’ve used it in the lake, shower, fishing and getting it dirty and it cleans easily. Highly recommended.

Pros:Material feels pretty sturdyMaterial IS very sturdy and durableArguably more comfortable than the stock watch bandsWill protect the watch (unless if you drop it and the display hits something extruding from the ground)Cons:Can't bend the watch straps all the way (does affect charging sometimes)Really hard to put the watch in or take it out (which makes cleaning really annoying)Apart from the above, because of the design, it's really recommended to clean this at least once every month, otherwise your watch will look disgusting.

I thought it was just a case to protect the watch, turns out it comes with the bands all together (before you bash me i didn't read anything, thought it was nice so i got it). I was pretty happy it came with it. It was bought for a series 1, so if you're looking that would fit one i suggest this one.

Protezione efficace per Apple Watch, facile da montare e da pulire.Consigliata sia per attività come trekking e arrampicata che per lavori pesanti come giardinaggio o meccanica.Il device rimane sempre protetto e il cinturino con fibbia classica è comodo da indossare.Forse il finish soft touch nelle prime ore crea un po’ di fastidio a contatto con il polso ma poi diventa molto confortevole.

This is a good watch strap/case. Definitely feel more comfortable wearing my watch with this on to protect from bumps at work. Only downside to it is I use a stand for my charger and the charger sits flush inside the stand, it can be tricky to get the watch to charge sometimes, I’ve taken to pushing the charger out a bit from the stand so it makes better contact. Works perfectly if you just stick your charger to the back of it without the stand though. Definitely not a deal breaker and I’d likely purchase another Spigen band if I were to ever get a newer watch.

Per monitorare il battito cardiaco utilizzo il mio i-watch anche durante attività sportive e di manutenzione del giardino. Dopo aver distrutto il precedente i-watch durante una di queste attività ho provato ad acquistare questa protezione che integra anche un cinturino robusto. In pochi giorni di utilizzo ha già dimostrato la sua efficacia proteggendo da urti e sfregamenti l’orologio e quindi svolgendo perfettamente il lavoro per il quale l’ho acquistato. L’assenza di uno schermo trasparente nella parte superiore, almeno per me, non si sta rivelando un problema perché i bordi della protezione sono sufficientemente rialzati sui 4 lati per evitare che il vetro entri in contatto con corpi estranei rigandosi o danneggiandosi. Certamente l’estetica dell’orologio viene alterata parecchio, ma è inevitabile se si vuole una protezione adeguata, comunque la facilità di accoppiamento e disaccoppiamento con l’i-watch consente di ripristinare facilmente e rapidamente l’estetica originale.Per ora sono pienamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto
