Very nice stained smooth finish..Could scratch easy.We used for a TV console.Its a hard wood.But finish would be damaged as a chopping block.

Really beautiful, well worth the price. Going to treat with linseed oil blend for food safety and use this as a bar top. Solid wood, sturdy and great color in dark oak.

Was wanting to build a butcher block desk similar to the IKEA Kalby but didn’t want something that long. This was a perfect solution and it shipped fast. It is SOLID WOOD! Could have ordered one a bit thicker but that’s okay. Also not sure if it’s the type of wood or just the legs I used but it does have some minor wobble to it, maybe because the wood is somewhat soft. It has more of a nature matte also like smooth texture finish. Might coat it with something a little more glossy later on. 5/5 thank you!

It is manufactured well and looks very nice. It did the job perfectly.

Most disappointing purchase in a long time. After putting sealer on what i thought was the best side, rough spots showed up. Looks ok from a distance, but up close many rough areas. Couldn't see it till a put sealer on it, or i would have sent it back.

I purchased this with standing desk legs. One side of the wood top had some 'character' but the other side was great for a desktop. Looks good and is certainly solid wood through and through after drilling through it for my anchor points..

This is a really nice countertop and worked out great replacing the white marvel top on out island

I purchased this acacia wood butcher block to repurpose it as a custom computer desk. While the product offers good value and looks nice with its stain finish, there are a few things to note if you’re considering it for a project that involves cutting or sanding.First, the block had micro-grooves from CNC router spirals, which were mostly hidden under the provided stain. However, sanding and restaining made these grooves more apparent. Additionally, when cutting the board, I found that some panels were made from filler boards glued together with different types of wood, which may impact the uniformity of the finish.Another issue I encountered was tension within some of the slats. After cutting, certain sections warped quickly, which required extra effort to manage during my project.Overall, it’s a decent product for general use, but if you’re planning to modify it significantly, be prepared for some surprises and extra work. For my desk, it ultimately worked, but the imperfections stood out during customization.
