Grew up with this kind of ice tray (mine was probably made of tin, not stainless steel). To release ice cubes from it easily without waiting, run it under cold water front and back for a second will do the job. Yes ice cubes broke in pieces a lot of times but I don't care. Love it.

Sturdy for ice tray. Stainless steel for daily use. Should last a long time for when my ice maker quit working.

Almost impossible to pull up the handle. The tray is very shallow so ice cubes are small. The cubes break apart so much of it just goes in the sink. I grew up with this type of ice tray but they made great ice and was easy enough for a child. This one is not functional or engineered correctly

These are just as I remember from my childhood, and are so very easy to use. The ice always comes out easily.

Gets the job done if you’re trying to avoid freezing in plastic or silicone, but that’s about it. Can be difficult to break up the ice with the handle and the ice does not crack into neat cubes. Tends to shatter a bit.

Hey all....Matthew from Santa Paula, ca. I am so excited about this stainless ice try, it makes a HUGE difference from the aluminum ones. Why...I had an aluminum one and the handle broke after a small amount of time. So I decided to spend a weee bit more on a stainless steel tray, and what a huge diff.
