This base plate is AWS standard and works with such matte box setups. It has a mounting base plate that fits both arca swiss and manfrotto without changing anything. It is designed very nicely and holds everything together very securely.I wanted an aws baseplate that would mount directly to my black momba camera cage. I had to make a non-destructive modification to this baseplate and my needs were more than met.Overall, I really like the design and function of the baseplate. I am very happy with my purchase...

based on how well these are built and for a good price ill be considering building more sirui products into my rigs - these bois are thicc with carbon fiber super solid but still crazy light - wish there was a shorter 3 or 4 inch model as well id snag

I went for these carbon fiber rods with threaded inserts because the threads make them more versatile. There were a couple of issues:1. They measure 20 cm, but 20 cm ≠ 8.0". They're more like 7⅞". It's not a big deal for me, but could be significant for some applications. It shouldn't be too difficult to fix the product description (but might make it more difficult to find in a search for 8" rods).2. I bought a new item and received an open box item. The previous customer basically destroyed the box. What the heck? How hard could it be to open a box properly? I digress. The product itself works as expected and does not appear to have obvious defects, so I wouldn't return it just for a new box. But I'm deducting a star for quality control. YMMV.

Priced right and build quality is equal to any other carbon fiber rods out there. SIRUI is a name you can trust and have several products with their name on it. I use these mostly when I build out a video rig for my SONY FX30.

Die Grundplatte lag lose in der Verpackung. Das ist sicher nicht mehr Original. Wahrscheinlich schon xxx mal zurückgeschickt.Damit kommen wir auch schon zum eigentlichen Problem- Der ARCA-Type ist nicht Kompatibel.Habe diverse L, Rigs‘, Cases jedoch ist die Grundplatte mit SmallRig Case und diversen anderen Schienen leider nicht kompatibel. Da ich einen SIRUI K-20X Kugelkopf und eine SIRUI AM-20P Schnellwechselbasishabe und hier alle SmallRig, div L,. Schienen passen, dachte ich nicht, dass es mit der Grundplatte solche Probleme gibt.+ Qualität - Verarbeitung der Grundplatte Gut

パイプ径がキッチリ15mmなので某Ｓ社製のカーボンパイプのような締め込みが甘くなる事がない両端に3/8インチ穴のインサート(深さ約10mm)があるのでカーボンパイプながら拡張性と軽量化を両立できる実測　25.6g (1本)

Great product, it does everything you expect it to do. The quick release is very convenient.The only gripe I have with it is that it does not make any allowances for other Arca-Swiss plates and thus my Blackrapid Arca-Swiss plate won’t fit in the mount. This is not only down to the security nuts either side of the plate, but also the construction of the mount itself.For the price, that is a bit of a shame, but no deal breaker.
