Good Value
After watching a couple of YouTube videos, the hardest part of the installation was replacing the steering column covers. I should have taken some pictures pre-installation to have had a better idea of how they fit. Overall, a pretty simple installation. That aside, the new stalk looks and feels like the original.

Not a perfect fit
Just now have gotten around to installing it in my Cobalt, but I received it months ago. There’s two issues with it. For one, it will not lock completely in. I see similar comments by other reviewers, so I’m probably gonna have to look into how I can file the locking mechanism down to get it to snap into place. Secondly, the automatic disengage mechanism is not working. This may be because the switch is not completely locked into place, but I’ll know for sure when I modify it to fit. Great price, but honestly if I knew this beforehand I would’ve spent the extra $ for OEM.Update 3/29: I took a file and shimmed the part down a bit and it locked into place. Works great now (including the automatic disengage). Still kind of a headache but only took a minute or two.

It works like the original! It is really easy to install. Had it in, in about 2 minutes.

Pretty good replacement
Works great, easy to install. Only issue didn't snap in had to do a little filing to get it to seat all the way in.

2005 Pontiac G5 Perfect fit.
Worked perfectly in 2005 Pontiac G5. Took about an hour and a half to install and worked fine. Make sure you replace the old one with this new one and be sure to have it lock into place. If you don't lock into place the new one will not work, and you will think you got a defective one. There are two clips that need to lock the device into the holding are on the steering column
