It will be a shade lighter...but very fine texture
Cushion foundations are convenient for travel (no spills or liquid) although they are falling out of favor because they can dry out. This cushion foundation from Korean beauty will be a shade lighter than you expect. I got the 23 which is the cool beige "sand" and I'm normally light-medium or the second lightest shade of most foundation. This was slightly light on me and medium coverage. The lightening effect was brightening--which is probably why the color is lighter than you'd expect; the style for a lot of K-beauty is pale and flawless. It says "glow" and "layering" meaning it's somewhat buildable. As to "glowing", it's not overly matte but it's not oily-shiny either. It does give a glow, however (slight shine). Since I don't like matte foundation, I'm quite happy with it.The compact looks like pearlized metal. It has a mirror inside, and a compartment for the sponge applicator.I would definitely buy this again just for the convenience and I like the finish it gives.

Beautiful, but painful
This cushion has a gorgeous, glassy look. Your skin looks so hydrated and supple. The coverage is phenomenal, as well. The main issue I had with it was it stung my eyes horrifically. It's springtime and my eyes know it. I made the mistake of rubbing my itchy eyes and I couldn't see or open them. And I was driving. I had to pull over as fast as possible and rinse my eyes. Luckily I was close to a pharmacy. But, I loved this cushion so much that I tried to blame my sunscreen. It was not. No matter which sunscreen I wore, my eyes burned if it migrated towards my eyes. I was so sad to send it back, but it wasn't worth the pain.

Not for me ..
It turns out it's not suitable for my dry skin, although I thought it would be very moisturizing.

Used nasty product
This is my 3rd Missha foundation product I’ve ordered. I loved the other two. This one (the glow foundation) came opened and used. The sponge was disgusting like someone used it for months. Very disappointed and disgusted.

Full coverage
This foundation is awesome and has a slight glow to it. Lasts all day and sweat proof!

Too White (As Expected)
So, I tried out the Missha Cushion Foundation in Sand, and let’s just say, it’s definitely on the lighter side. I mean, I expected it since Korean makeup brands tend to lean that way. I usually rock shade 455 Natural Buff in Loreal Foundation, and this Missha one just didn’t quite match up. It’s a shame because the formula feels nice and the coverage is decent, but if you’re closer to my shade, you might want to try something a bit darker.

Prep
Gives beautiful glow and coverage with very little product. I do have dry skin and once I didn’t completely prep with moisturizers etc and my skin was so visibly flaky my coworkers wondered what happened to my skin. I like the look but I def can’t just put it on without prepping.
